Contact 2 should be grounded in all applications. The negative pole of the transducer should be connected to contact 3.5.3.2 Single-channel unbalanced The signal should be connected to contact 1: the common return and shield should be connected to contact 2. The left channel or main channel signal should be connected to terminal 1, the right channel or auxiliary channel should be connected to terminal 3; the common return and shield should be connected to terminal 2. 5.3.3 Dual Channel Unbalanced The left channel or main channel signal should be connected to terminal 1, the right channel or auxiliary channel should be connected to terminal 3; the common return and shield should be connected to terminal 2. 5.3.4 Cross-connection type unbalanced The input of the device is connected to terminal 1, the output is connected to terminal 3, and the common return and shield are connected to terminal 2. This practice requires a cross-connection line between terminals 1 and 3 (the so-called "red line"). If this line is used, the above practice is still used on mixing consoles and similar equipment, while terminals 1 and 3 of filters and other peripherals should be reversed. In this case, the connection should be indicated by a graphic near these connectors on the equipment.
