The "Type and size" part of this standard milling cutter is formulated with reference to the international standards ISO6262/1-1982 "Endmilling cutters with indexable inserts - Part 1: Flattened straight shank endmilling cutters" and ISO6262/2-1982 "Endmilling cutters with indexable inserts - Part 2: Morse taper shank endmilling cutters".

1.3 Flattened straight shank shall be in accordance with GB6131--85 "shank dimensions of straight shank milling cutters". 1.4 The Morse taper shank shall be in accordance with GB1443-85 "Dimensions and tolerances of tool shank seat locking cone" 20

1.5 The type and size of the milling cutter blade shall be in accordance with GB2076-80 "Indicative rules for indexable inserts for cutting tools" and GB208180 "Cemented carbide indexable inserts for milling tools" and shall be preferred. 1.6 The code and representation rules of the milling cutter shall be in accordance with Appendix A of this standard: Example of marking for indexable end mills (supplement). 2 Technical requirements
2.1 The milling cutter blade shall not have cracks or chipping, and the other parts shall not have defects such as cracks, scratches and rust that affect the performance. 2.2 The position tolerance of the milling cutter blade positioning surface and the milling cutter shank shall be in accordance with Table 3. , 2.3 The precision of the installed blades of professionally produced milling cutters shall not be lower than Class 1C (in accordance with GB2081-80). 11

② Check the blade runout with the same blade on the same cutting edge. The surface roughness of the outer circle of the shank of the milling cutter shall not be higher than Ra0.63um (according to GB1031—83) "Surface roughness parameters and their numerical values". The milling cutter body is made of alloy steel, with a head hardness of not less than HRC45 and a shank hardness of HRC35~50. The hardness of the remaining parts of the milling cutter: the positioning element is not less than HRC50; the clamping element is not less than HRC40.
2.6 The clamping of the milling cutter blade should be reliable to ensure that the blade does not loosen or move during the cutting process. The various parts of the milling cutter should be interchangeable.
3 Test method
3.1 The blade of the milling cutter performance test adopts hard alloy with the use code P20 (according to GB2075-80 "Classification and grouping code of hard alloy for cutting processing"), and the test material is 45 steel with a hardness of HB170~200. 3.2 No coolant is used during the test.
3.3 The test cutting specifications are in accordance with Figure 3 and Table 4.
After the test, there shall be no chipping and significant wear on the milling cutter cutting edge, and the parts shall not be loose, and their original performance shall be maintained. Figure 3

4.1 Marking

4.1.1 The milling cutter should be marked with: manufacturer’s trademark, milling cutter diameter and blade edge length. 2 The carbide grade and application code (according to GB2075-80) should be marked on the milling cutter blade. 4.1.2
4.1.3 The packaging box of the milling cutter should be marked with: national standard number, product name, manufacturer name and trademark, milling cutter diameter and blade edge length, manufacturing year and month.
4.2 Packaging
The milling cutter should be rust-proofed before packaging, and the packaged milling cutters should be protected from damage. 13

Three-point positioning dimensions of indexable inserts

This appendix applies to the positioning of triangular and square inserts in the milling cutter insert seat and the positioning of the insert in the fixture during grinding and testing. The positioning dimensions are shown in the following table
