This standard specifies the type and size, technical requirements and marking, packaging, etc. of Whiworth thread rolling wheels (hereinafter referred to as thread rolling wheels).
This standard is applicable to the rolling wheels for processing Whiworth screw threads (BS-1955). Thread rolling wheels are divided into two grades of precision: grade 2 and grade 3. Grade 2 is suitable for processing medium-grade external threads, and grade 3 is suitable for processing free-grade external threads. 2 Reference standards
