National Standard of the People's Republic of China Design and reguirements for the templates of human body 1 Subject content and scope of application This standard specifies the size data and graphics of human body templates for design of four height levels. GB/T15759-1995 This standard is applicable to the auxiliary design of workspaces and operating positions related to the human body and their ergonomic evaluation. 2 Reference standards GB 3975 Anthropometric terms GB5703 Anthropometric methods GB10000 Human dimensions of Chinese adults GB/T 129851 General rules for the application of percentiles of human dimensions in product design GB/T 14779 3 Terms 3.1 Human body template Functional design requirements of sitting human body template A template representing the appearance and movement function characteristics of Chinese adults. 3.2 Body axis Vertical line projected from the side through the center point of the human hip joint. 3.3 Human joint center The center point of rotation of the simplified human joint used in the template. 3. 3. 1 Cervical joint center The center point of rotation of the cervical spine. 3.3.2 Shoulder joint center The center point of shoulder joint rotation. 3.3.3 Thoracic joint center The center point of thoracic joint rotation. 3.3.4 Lumbar joint center The center point of lumbar joint rotation. 3.3.5 Hip joint center The center point of hip joint rotation. 3.3.6 Knee joint center The center point of joint rotation. 3.3.7 Ankle joint center National Chess Technical Supervision Bureau 1995-11-23 approved for implementation on June 1, 1996 The center point of ankle joint rotation. 3.3.8 Foot joint center The center point of toe joint rotation. 3. 3. 9 Elbow joint center The center of rotation of the joint. 3. 3.10 Wrist joint center The center of rotation of the wrist joint. 4 Design requirements 4.1 Basic conditions GB/T15759—1995 4.1.1 The anthropometric terms involved in the standard are consistent with GB3975. 4.1.2 The basic postures and data collection methods used in the standard are consistent with GB5703. 4.1.3 The design dimensions adopt the dimensions of the naked human body wearing shoes, and each height dimension is increased by 25mm heel height on the height dimension in GB10000. 4.2 Height grade classification The height grade of men and women is determined according to the numerical values of the human height distribution specified in GB10000. See 4.2.1 Table 1 for the percentile distribution of height for men and women. Table 1 Percentile distribution of height Percentile 4.2.2 The human body template is divided into four levels according to the different height sizes of the human body. The first level uses the Pth percentile height of women; the second level uses the overlapping value of the Pth percentile height of women and the Pth percentile height of men; the third level uses the overlapping value of the Pth percentile height of women and the Pth percentile height of men; the fourth level uses the Pth percentile height of men. 4.2. 3 The human body size diagram is shown in Figure 1, and the template design size data is shown in Table 2. 3.3 GB/T15759-1995 Figure 1 Human body size diagram Neck joint height Cervical joint height Chest joint height Horoscope joint height Lumbar joint height Lumbar joint height Vertical distance from knee joint to seat plane Knee joint height|| tt||Instant joint height Toe joint height Upper bone length (joint distance at shoulder time) Shoulder joint distance Shoulder joint to hand grip diameter Shoulder joint to middle finger tip Head full quotient Maximum shoulder width Shoulder joint distance Sleeping hole distance Hip joint distance Distance from leg axis to inside of shoe GB/T 15759-1995 Size of templates for four height levels 397/416 3177294 408/430 330/306 Eye-occipital distance Body axis to back (back) Body axis to buttocks (back) Football joint to heel Note: The data on the oblique lines in the table are female size data. 4.3 Joints of templates GB/T 15759—1995 Continued Table 2 4.3.1 All template joints are simplified to a fixed rotation point. 4.3.2 The rotation angle of the joints complies with the provisions of 3.3 of GB/T14779. 4.4 Design drawing of human body template 4.4.1 The design drawing of template shall show the adjustment range of human body surface, component structure, skeletal joints and joint angles. 4.4.2 The design drawing of template shall meet the requirements of geometric drawing and be understood and applied by users. 4.4.3 The design drawings of human body templates of four business levels are shown in Appendix A (reference). 5 Use of template 5.1 According to the provisions of GB/T12985, human body templates corresponding to different height levels shall be reasonably selected. 5.2 The template shall be reasonably used according to the typical working posture. 5.3 Chain-type multi-joint movement shall be considered in the use of template. For example, the movement of the spine will be completed by the rotation of the waist joint and the thoracic joint. 5.4 The general ratio of 11:10 shall be adopted for the design of template size. The ratio of 15:11 and 18:4 may also be adopted in special occasions. 5.5 According to different installations, reasonable margin shall be added to the template size.
