Chemical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China
HG/T2765.1—1996
Published on January 24, 1996
Fine Porous Silica Gel
Implemented on January 1, 1997
Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China
WHG/T2765.1—1996
The superior products in this standard are not equivalent to the Japanese standard JISZ0701-1977 (1992) "Silica Gel Desiccant for Packaging" Type A 1. The superior product indicators are the same as JISZ0701-1977 (1992) Type A 1, and the test method is equivalent to JISZ0701-1977 (1992). The main technical differences between this standard and JISZ0701-1977 (1992) are as follows: 1 Fine porous silica gel is divided into three grades: superior, first-class, and qualified. 2 The standard adds the spherical particle qualification rate item (for fine-pored spherical silica gel) to the superior product index, the purpose of which is to distinguish spherical and block silica gel.
This standard changes the important technical contents of GB/T7818-87 and GB/T7820-87 as follows: 1 The contents specified in GB/T7818-87 and GB/T7820-87 are merged into one standard. 2 The technical content has been significantly changed. Except for the spherical particle qualification rate item, all other index items adopt JISZ0701-1977 (1992) Type A 1
3 The test method adopts the corresponding method of JISZ0701-1977 (1992) equivalently. 4 The silicon dioxide, pH value, and resistivity indicators are added; the particle size and bulk density are changed to the agreement indicators, and the relative humidity (RH) for the adsorption amount determination is changed to 20%, 50%, and 90% respectively; the heating loss index of superior products is more stringent. HG/T2765 is divided into the following independent parts under the general title of "Silica Gel": HG/T2765.1 Silica Gel Fine Pore Silica Gel
HG/T2765.2 Silica Gel Macropore Silica Gel
HG/T2765.3 Silica Gel Microsphere Silica Gel
HG/T2765.4 Silica Gel Blue Glue Indicator and Color Changing Silica Gel HG/T2765.5 Silica Gel Test Method
From the date of entry into force of this standard, GB/T7818-87 and GB/T7820-87 shall be invalidated at the same time. This standard is proposed by the Technical Supervision Department of the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Tianjin Chemical Research Institute of the Ministry of Chemical Industry. The drafting units of this standard are: Qingdao Ocean Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd., Chongqing Dongfeng Chemical Plant, and Tianjin Chemical Research Institute of the Ministry of Chemical Industry. The main drafters of this standard are: Wang Ninghua, Hu Ximei, Fan Guoqiang, Jiang Junhua, and Du Jian. I

Fine Porous Silica Gel
HG/T2765.1—1996
This standard specifies the requirements, sampling, test methods, as well as marking, packaging, transportation and purchase and storage of fine porous silica gel. This standard applies to fine porous spherical silica gel and fine porous block silica gel made from sulfuric acid and sodium silicate as raw materials. Fine porous spherical silica gel is mainly used as gas purifier, desiccant, air humidity regulator and catalyst carrier, and is used in the refining of petroleum products; fine porous block silica gel is mainly used for the refining and separation of petrochemical products and the dehydration and refining of organic products. Molecular formula: SiO2·nH20

This standard divides fine-pored silica gel into the following two categories: Category I: fine-pored spherical silica gel;
Category I: fine-pored block silica gel.
4 Requirements
4.1 Appearance: Category 1 fine-pored spherical silica gel is colorless or slightly yellow transparent or translucent spherical particles, among which individual brown particles are allowed. Category I fine-pored block silica gel is colorless or slightly yellow translucent glass-like irregular particles, and individual particles of different colors are allowed. 4.2 Fine-pored silica gel shall meet the requirements of Table 1.

5.2 Determine the number of sampling units in accordance with the provisions of 6.6 of GB/T6678. Use a sampler to take samples from the upper, middle and lower parts of the package. Mix the samples evenly. Use the quartering method to reduce to about 500g, immediately put into two clean and dry wide-mouth bottles and seal them. Stick labels on the bottles, indicating the manufacturer name, product name, category, grade, batch number, sampling date and name of the sampler. One bottle is used as a laboratory sample, and the other bottle is kept for three months for reference.
5.3 Test results If one indicator does not meet the requirements of this standard, re-sample from twice the amount of packaging for verification. If the verification results show that even if only one indicator does not meet the requirements of this standard, the entire batch of products is unqualified. 6 Test methods
6.1 All 8 indicators specified in this standard are type test items. Among them, adsorption amount, heating loss, spherical particle qualification rate, particle size, and bulk density are routine test items and should be tested batch by batch. Under normal production conditions, type tests should be carried out at least once every three months.
6.2 Use the rounded value comparison method specified in 5.2 of GB/T1250 to determine whether the test results meet the standards. 6.3 Determination of adsorption amount
According to Chapter 6 of HG/T2765.5.
6.4 Determination of heating loss

7 Marking, packaging, transportation, storage
HG/T2765.1—1996
7.1 The packaging of fine-pored silica gel should be firmly and clearly marked, including the manufacturer's name, address, product name, trademark, category, grade, net weight, batch number or production date, the number of this standard, and the "handle with care" mark and "afraid of moisture" mark specified in GB191. 7.2 Each batch of products shipped from the factory should have a quality certificate. The content includes the manufacturer's name, address, product name, trademark, category, grade, net weight, batch number or production date, proof that the product quality meets this standard, and the number of this standard. 7.3 Fine-pored silica gel is double-layered. The inner bag is a polyethylene film bag with a thickness of not less than 0.1mm. The outer bag is a plastic woven bag (select the corresponding model according to the provisions of GB/T8946). Each batch of packaging materials should be sampled and inspected, and its performance and inspection methods should comply with the provisions of GB/T8946. The net weight of each bag is 20kg, 25kg, 50kg or 100kg. Avoid moisture in the loser, and the packaging bag should be carefully placed to avoid damage.6 Fine-pored silica gel products should be stored in a ventilated and dry warehouse to avoid moisture and mixing with volatile substances.
