QB/T 1002-2005
This standard integrates leather shoes manufactured by various processes into one standard based on the original QB1002-1997 "Glued Leather Shoes", QB/T1003-1990 "Vulcanized Leather Shoes", QB/T1004-1990 "Sewn Leather Shoes" and QB/T1005-1990 "Molded Leather Shoes". The main revisions of this standard are as follows:
1. Standard name:
Expanded the scope of application:

Deleted the recommended value of the thickness of the main parts;
-Changed the appearance quality to sensory quality, and added, deleted and modified some inspection items. Adjusted the indicators of physical and mechanical properties; -Added the low-temperature flexural performance requirements of the upper material; -Added the clause that defects that affect wearing should not appear in the technical requirements; Changed the description method of the inspection rules.
Appendix A of this standard is an informative appendix.
This standard is proposed by the China Light Industry Federation. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Footwear Standardization Center. The responsible drafting units of this standard are: China Leather and Footwear Industry Research Institute, Jiangsu Senda Co., Ltd., Kangnai Group Co., Ltd., Shishi Fulin Footwear Co., Ltd., Ligang Footwear (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., and Aokang Group Co., Ltd. The main drafters of this standard are: Yan Huaidao, Qi Xiaoxia, Zhu Xianggui, Zheng Xiukang, Lin Heping, Sheng Baijiao, and Wang Zhenquan. The previous versions of the standards replaced by this standard are: -QB/T1002-1990, QB 1002-1997: QB/T 1003-1990;
-QB/T 1004-1990;
QB/T1005-1990.
From the date of implementation, this standard will abolish the light industry standard QB1002-1997 "Glued Leather Shoes" issued by the former China Light Industry Federation, and replace the light industry standards QB/T1003-1990 "Vulcanized Leather Shoes", QB/T1004-1990 "Sewn Leather Shoes" and QB/T1005-1990 "Molded Leather Shoes" issued by the former Ministry of Light Industry.
QB/T1002—2005
It has been fourteen years since the QB/T1003--1990 "Vulcanized Leather Shoes", QB/T1004-1990 "Sewn Leather Shoes", and QB/T1005-1990 "Molded Leather Shoes" standards were issued and implemented, and it has been seven years since QB1002-1997 "Glued Leather Shoes". Over the years, the leather shoes industry has continuously updated its product styles, improved its product quality, and undergone many changes in raw and auxiliary materials and production processes. It is urgent to revise the standards to adapt to the development of the industry and the needs of products. This standard integrates leather shoes made by various processes into one standard based on the original QB1002-1997 "Glued Leather Shoes", QB/T1003-1990 "Vulcanized Leather Shoes", QB/T1004-1990 "Sewn Leather Shoes", and QB/T1005-1990 "Molded Leather Shoes".
QB/T 1002-2005
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking packaging, transportation and storage of leather shoes made by various processes. This standard is applicable to general wear leather shoes (including boots) with uppers made of natural leather, artificial materials, etc. This standard does not apply to safety, protection and special function footwear. 2 Normative References
