This specification is interpreted by the Daqing Oilfield Construction Design Institute. 1.0.1 In order to meet the needs of oilfield water injection project construction, unify design standards and technical requirements, ensure design quality, and achieve the goals of advanced technology, economic rationality, and safety and applicability, this specification is specially formulated. 1.0.2 This specification is applicable to the design of new, expanded, and rebuilt oilfield water injection projects on land. 1.0.3 The design of oilfield water injection engineering shall be based on the approved "Oilfield Development Plan" and designed in accordance with the principles of increasing production and saving, energy saving and consumption reduction; and shall follow the principles of protecting the environment, comprehensive utilization, and turning harm into benefit. After the oilfield produced water is treated and qualified, it shall be given priority for reinjection. 1.0.4 The design of oilfield water injection engineering shall actively and prudently adopt new processes, new equipment, new materials, and new scientific research results; conscientiously summarize experience and continuously improve the design level. 1.0.5 In addition to complying with this specification, the design of oilfield water injection engineering shall also comply with the provisions of the relevant mandatory standards currently in force in the country. 2 Terms 2.0.1 Oilfield water injection engineering Oilfield water injection engineering The general term for surface production facilities and auxiliary production facilities for water injection in the field. 2.0.2 Closed water injection system Closed water injection system A water injection system that takes air isolation measures in the low-pressure part, such as oil seals or air seals in the water storage tank and water seals at the pump inlet packing. 2.0.3 Water injection pressure is the pressure at the wellhead where water is injected into the oil layer to maintain the oil layer pressure. 2.0.4 Polymer A natural or synthetic substance with a high molecular weight formed by the polymerization of a large number of simple molecules (monomers).
