This standard specifies the working steps and working procedures for the two main design phases of pump specialty. Applicable to design management personnel The design working procedures of pump specialty are divided into two stages: preliminary design and engineering design. 2
Preliminary design phase
Accept relevant professional conditions and conduct condition review. Study the selection issues of key pumps, preliminarily select the types of main pumps, and prepare preliminary engineering design regulations.
Carry out pump selection, prepare pump data sheets or cooperate with chemical process professionals to prepare process equipment sheets, and propose the expected energy consumption of pumps.
When necessary, prepare inquiry technical documents such as brief purchase instructions for pump pre-inquiry. Propose preliminary design conditions to relevant professionals. Prepare preliminary design instructions.
3 Engineering Design (Construction Drawing Design) Phase

Therefore, the first draft compiled by this specialty should be submitted to the above-mentioned specialties and relevant departments for review in accordance with the requirements of the design quality assurance procedure. 3.0.4 Preparation of pump procurement (inquiry, order) technical documents Pump procurement (inquiry, order) technical documents usually include: general technical regulations for equipment, equipment (inquiry, order) purchase order/technical specifications, data sheets, etc.
Equipment purchase order and/or technical specifications and data sheets are prepared by this specialty according to the opinions or conditions of the process, system, pipeline, instrumentation, electrical, material, inspection and procurement departments. The equipment purchase order and/or technical specifications are also submitted to the above-mentioned relevant disciplines and departments for review in accordance with the requirements of the design quality assurance procedure; the inquiry technical documents are submitted to the design manager for delivery to the procurement department after being reviewed by this specialty.
3.0.5 Review of quotation technical documents
Reviewing the quotation technical documents of the manufacturer (commercial) is an important task of this specialty. This specialty will comprehensively solicit the review opinions of all relevant disciplines and make technical evaluations of the quotations. When several manufacturers (commercials) make quotations at the same time, this specialty should be responsible for completing the technical review form and review opinions of the quotations, as well as the recommendations for selecting the purchasing manufacturer (commercial). The technical review form and review opinions shall still be reviewed according to the requirements of the design quality assurance procedure and then submitted to the design manager for sending to the purchasing department. 3.0.6 Participation in the coordination meeting
A manufacturer (commercial) coordination meeting (VCM) is required for key pumps. This meeting is an important meeting to discuss the design, material selection, manufacturing, inspection and other related issues of the pump with the manufacturer (commercial). The meeting is mainly prepared by this profession, and the whole process of the meeting is participated in. Before the meeting, the detailed agenda of the meeting (technical part) shall be prepared by this profession. Records shall be taken during the meeting, and the compilation of the minutes of the meeting shall be completed (technical part). The order data sheet is completed by supplementing and modifying the quotation information, data and minutes of the coordination meeting (VCM) of the manufacturer (commercial) on the basis of the inquiry data sheet. After verification, it is submitted to the design manager and sent to the procurement department. The order data sheet is an important part of the technical attachments of the order contract. 3.0.8 Review of Pre-confirmation (ACF) Drawings and Materials Pre-confirmation (ACF) drawings and materials are the drawings and materials provided in advance designed and drawn by the manufacturer (commercial) according to the requirements of the order technical documents. The drawings and materials have been signed by the relevant personnel (design, verification, and review) of the manufacturer (commercial). The review of ACF drawings and materials is the responsibility of this specialty, which summarizes the review opinions of this specialty and the system, layout, pipeline, pipe machine, pipe material, instrumentation, electrical, civil engineering, material, inspection department, etc. The review opinions are submitted to the design manager and sent to the procurement department and the manufacturer (commercial). The manufacturer (commercial) supplements and modifies the final confirmation (CF) drawings and materials accordingly. 3.0.9 Review of Final Confirmation (CF) Drawings and Materials Final Confirmation (CF) drawings and materials are the final drawings delivered by the manufacturer (commercial) to the production workshop for processing and manufacturing. For the sake of prudence, the design (purchase) party should review them again to ensure that the drawings and materials of the manufacturer (commercial) fully meet the order requirements. Finally, they will be sent to all relevant professionals as the final condition. 3.0.10 Review of product test records and certificates of conformity Product test records are documents that provide objective evidence of the results achieved by the manufacturer (commercial) at each major stage of product processing and manufacturing, based on relevant standards or specified test methods.
