GB/T5009.60—2003 Hygienic standard for sangvinyl, polystyrene and polypropylene molded products for food packaging 3 Sampling method According to Chapter 2 of GB/T5009.60-2003. 4 Bubble conditions According to Chapter 3 of GB/T5009.60--2003. 5 Potassium permanganate consumption According to Chapter 4 of GB/T5009.60—2003. 6 Evaporation residue Operate according to Chapter 5 of GB/T5009.60-2003. 7 Heavy metals Operate according to Chapter 6 of GB/T5009.60-2003. 8 Formaldehyde 8.1 Principle Formaldehyde and phenylhydrazine hydrochloride are oxidized in acidic conditions to form a red compound, which is quantitatively compared with the standard series, and the minimum detection limit is 5 mg/L. 8.2 Reagents 8.2.1 Phenylhydrazine hydrochloride solution (10g/L): Weigh 1.0g phenylhydrazine hydrochloride, add 80mL water to dissolve, then add 2ml. Hydrochloric acid (10+2), dilute to 100mL with water, filter, and store in a brown bottle. 8.2.2 Potassium ferrocyanide solution (20g/L). 8.2.3 Hydrochloric acid (10+2): Take 100 mL of hydrochloric acid and dilute to 120 mL with water. 481 GB/T 5009.61—2003 8.2.4 Formaldehyde standard solution: Take 2.5 mL of 36%-38% formaldehyde solution and place it in a 250 mL volumetric flask, dilute to the mark with water, calibrate with iodine titration, and finally dilute to 100 μg formaldehyde per mL. 8.2.5 Formaldehyde standard working solution: Take 10.0 mL of formaldehyde standard solution and place it in a 100 mL volumetric flask, dilute to the mark with water. This solution is equivalent to 10.0 μg formaldehyde per mL. 8.3 Analysis steps Take 10.0 mL of acetic acid (4%) soaking solution in a 100 mL volumetric flask, add water to the mark, and mix well. Pipette 2mL of this dilution into a 25mL colorimetric tube. Pipette 0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0mL of formaldehyde standard solution (equivalent to 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10μg formaldehyde) into 25mL colorimetric tubes, and add water to 2mL. Add 1mL of hydrochloric acid benzene solution to each sample and standard tube, shake and place for 20min. Add 0.5mL of potassium ferrocyanide solution to each, place for 4min, add 2.5mL of hydrochloric acid (10+2) to each, add water to 10mL, and mix well. Use a 1cm colorimetric cup and a zero tube to adjust the zero point within 10min to 40min, measure the absorbance at a wavelength of 520nm, and draw a standard curve for comparison. 8.4 Calculation of results Where: mx1000 10×1×1000 X is the formaldehyde content in the immersion solution, in milligrams per liter (mg/L); m is the mass of formaldehyde in the dilution solution taken during the determination, in micrograms (μg); V is the volume of the diluted immersion solution taken during the determination, in milliliters (mL).
