Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the type, basic parameters, dimensions, technical requirements and relevant use regulations of horizontal lifting cover with neck butt welding flange manhole made of carbon steel and low alloy steel.
This standard is applicable to horizontal lifting cover with neck butt welding flange manhole with nominal pressure PN2.5~6.3MPa and working temperature limited to the range specified in Table 3-2 according to material category. Note: The nominal pressure and working temperature in Table 3-2 are only applicable to the pressure-bearing parts of the manhole, excluding gaskets. The nominal pressure and working temperature of the gasket should be determined according to the corresponding gasket standard.
