This standard is modified and adopts ISO7805-2:1987 "Industrial sieve plates Part 2: Plate thickness <3mm" (English version). The main changes are as follows:
- ISO7805-2 gives the limit deviation of sieve holes and hole spacing in the form of formulas, and gives examples in the form of appendixes, while this standard directly gives the values ​​in the form of Tables 1 and 2, and gives the formulas of the limit deviation of sieve plate hole spacing and sieve hole size in the form of Appendix A. This standard replaces GB/T10612--1989 "Circular and square hole sieve plates with plate thickness <3mm". Compared with GB/T10612-1989, the main changes of this standard are as follows: the provisions on materials are added;
- The values ​​of the basic size of mesh, basic size of hole spacing, and opening rate are partially adjusted (see Table 1); some contents of marking and packaging are modified, and simple packaging methods are added. Appendix A of this standard is a normative appendix.
This standard is proposed by the China Machinery Industry Federation. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Sieve Screening and Particle Sorting Methods (CSBTS/TC168). This standard specifies the type, parameters, technical requirements, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of circular and square hole sieve plates with plate thickness less than 3mm.
This standard is applicable to sieve plates for screening with a plate thickness less than 3mm. The basic size range of circular holes is 0.5mm~10mm, and the basic size range of square holes is 2mm~10mm.

3 Terms and definitions

5.2.1 The basic dimensions of the sieve holes are divided into the first series, the second series and the third series, and the first series is preferred. 5.2.2 The basic parameters and dimensions of the round hole sieve plate shall be in accordance with the provisions of Table 1. The basic parameters and dimensions not given can be calculated and rounded according to the formula in Appendix A.
5.2.3 The basic parameters and dimensions of square hole sieve plates shall be in accordance with the provisions of Table 2. The basic parameters and dimensions not given can be calculated and rounded according to the formula in Appendix A.
5.2.4 The limit deviation of the length and width of the sieve plate shall be in accordance with the provisions of tolerance grade h14 in GB/T1804. If the user has special requirements, it shall be agreed upon by the supply and demand parties.

5.2.5 The two diagonals of the sieve plate should be equal. Its basic size is the theoretical calculated value of the sieve plate diagonal. The dimensional limit deviation should comply with the provisions of tolerance grade h15 in GB/T1804
5.2.6 The margin width of the sieve plate should be agreed upon by the supply and demand parties. The limit deviation of the margin width of the sieve plate shall be in accordance with the provisions of Table 3.
