National Standard of the People's Republic of China Aluminium and aluminium alloys Riveting test method for rivet wire Aluminium and aluminium alloysRiveting test method for rivet wireUDC 669.71 -- 426 : 621.884 3250-82 This standard applies to the riveting performance test of aluminium and aluminium alloy wires with a diameter less than or equal to 10 mm for the manufacture of nails. Rivets can also be tested with reference to this standard. www.bzxz.net 1 Test specimens 1.1 The cutting position and quantity of the test specimens shall comply with the relevant standards. 1.2 Cut a section of the test specimen raw material of appropriate length from the wire that has passed the appearance inspection, and it shall be accompanied by a mark indicating the alloy grade, specification, batch number and test specimen number. If necessary, the heat treatment system, time and test date shall also be indicated. 1.3 The two ends of the test specimen cut from the raw material shall be neat, perpendicular to the center line, and free of burrs around. The sample source surface is not allowed to be damaged when cutting the sample. 1.4 The length of the sample! is 1.4 times the sample diameter d plus 10mm. 2 Test tools 2.1 The test uses the riveting tool shown in the figure. 2.2 The depth of the tool hole is 10mm. 777777 Wire riveting test tool figure 3 Test and result evaluation 3.1 The riveting time of the sample after quenching should comply with the relevant standards. 3.2 According to the diameter of the wire, select the tool with the corresponding aperture, so that the sample is inserted directly to the bottom of the hole and clamped in the hole. Unless otherwise specified in the relevant standards, the height of the part of the sample exposed outside the tool is 1.4d. Issued by the National Bureau of Standards on June 21, 1982 Implemented on March 1, 1983 GB3250—82 .3 Use a hand hammer, steam hammer or rivet gun to hammer the specimen and upset it until the height of the head of the specimen exposed outside the tool is 0.5d. 3.4 The flat head of the rivet after roughening should be elliptical or slightly elliptical. If the protruding part of the specimen is bent by the hammer or the half head is close to the edge of the oval, the test result is invalid and the specimen should be re-tested. 3.5 Check the side of the flat head of the specimen with the naked eye. If there is no crack, split or fold, it is considered qualified. If necessary, it can be checked with a f. times magnifying glass. Additional remarks: This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry of the People's Republic of China. This standard was drafted by the Northeast Light Alloy Processing Plant. The main drafter of this standard is Chen Guangxian. From the date of implementation of this standard, the former Ministry of Metallurgical Industry Standard YB649--67 "Test Method for Riveting of Deformed Aluminum and Aluminum Alloy Wires" shall be invalid.
