This standard replaces JB/T2974-1993 "Supplementary Provisions on Rolling Bearing Code Method". Compared with JB/T2974-1993, the main changes of this standard are as follows: JB/T2974--2004
--Added ten types of cylindrical roller bearings and corresponding codes, and added type code 76 of thrust angular contact ball bearings (see Table 1);
Changed "needle roller and thrust ball combination bearings (same outer diameter)" in Table 2 to "needle roller and full complement thrust ball combination bearings with outer cover (oil lubrication)" (see 1993 edition and this edition - The "α=45°" in the suffix code D is deleted, and the meaning of the subsequent code Z is added with "needle roller and full complement thrust ball bearing with outer cover, Z is grease lubrication" (see Table 5 of this edition and the 1993 edition); - The code ZA for zinc-aluminum alloy cage materials and the code D3 for low-temperature carbonitriding cage are added, and F1, F2,.F3, F4, Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, L1, L2, TN1, TN2, TN3, TN4, T NS Code for specific cage materials (see 3.2.2.3 of this standard and the 1993 edition);

Change the cage material of three-point and four-point contact ball bearings without codes from "aluminum" to "copper" (see Appendix A of this edition and 1993 edition):
-Added the codes and corresponding reference standards of some special bearings (see the normative reference documents and Appendix B of this edition): Deleted Appendix D (Appendix D of 1993 edition). Appendix A, Appendix B and Appendix C of this standard are normative appendices. This standard is proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation. This standard specifies the code of rolling bearings (hereinafter referred to as bearings) not specified in GB/T272-1993, and is a supplement to GB/T272-1993.
This standard applies to general purpose bearings. 2 Normative references
The clauses in the following documents become the clauses of this standard through reference in this standard. For all dated references, all subsequent amendments (excluding errata) or revisions are not applicable to this standard. However, the parties to the agreement based on this standard are encouraged to study whether the latest versions of these documents can be used. The composition and arrangement of bearing codes shall comply with the provisions of GB/T272-1993. 3.1 Basic code
The basic code of bearings shall comply with the provisions of GB272~1993. General-purpose rolling bearings (except needle roller bearings) are composed of type code, size series indicating the outer dimensions of the bearing, and inner diameter code: The basic code of needle roller bearings is composed of type code and dimension indicating the matching and installation characteristics of the bearing. The size series code, inner diameter code and size code indicating the bearing matching and installation characteristics shall be in accordance with the provisions of GB/272-1993. The bearing types and sizes not included in GB/272-1993 shall be indicated by the size series, inner diameter code or the size indicating the bearing matching and installation characteristics. See Table 1 and Table 2.
