1 General Principles
In order to implement the international general design system and methods, and provide the standard for the engineering design of the automatic control professional designers, this regulation is specially formulated
1.0.2 This regulation applies to the various design work of the automatic control professional carried out in the engineering design stage (including the basic engineering design stage and the detailed engineering design stage) and the work procedures of the procurement of instruments and installation materials. 1.0.3 The relevant standards are as follows:

2.0.1 The engineering design procedure of the automatic control specialty should comply with the requirements of the "Working procedure diagram of the engineering design stage of the automatic control specialty" (Figure 2.0.1).
The working procedure diagram reflects the various design tasks to be carried out by the automatic control specialty during each version of P&ID, and its work content description should comply with the provisions of "Tasks of engineering design of the automatic control specialty" (HG/T206366). 2.0.2 Work procedure diagram description:
1 The various design documents listed during each version of P&ID in the figure indicate the time of starting to compile (draw). Some design documents can be completed during this period, and some design documents have to be completed until the later stage of design, such as instrument index, instrument loop diagram, etc.
2 The design documents listed in the figure do not necessarily have to be completed for a specific engineering project, and the relevant design documents can be compiled (drawn) as needed. If pneumatic instruments are used in the design, the design documents should add relevant drawings, which are not included in this procedure.
3 The automatic control design conditions submitted by the chemical process specialty have two forms, one is the process flow chart and process description, material balance table, main control description and other design data, and the other is the "instrument condition table". Both forms are acceptable to the automatic control specialty.
4 The coordination work of instrument procurement begins in the basic engineering design stage, such as providing the "instrument design regulations" to the procurement department, recommending and evaluating instrument inquiry manufacturers, etc. 5 The instrument positioning meeting is generally held together with the model review meeting (equipment, piping model). For engineering items that do not carry out model design, the instrument positioning meeting is often not formally held. The positioning of the instrument is determined by the automatic control specialty and the pipeline specialty to exchange design drawings, tables and mutual consultation. 6 The program diagram does not include the design documents required for DCS application configuration. This type of design document is compiled (drawn) according to needs after the engineering design is completed. When compiling (drawing), it should comply with the provisions of Article 4.5.3 of "Tasks of Automatic Control Professional Engineering Design" (HG/T20636.6).

B.1 General
B.1.1 Engineering procurement is closely related to engineering design. There are many links in the procurement process that need to be connected with the design process. This procurement process diagram only describes the entire process of procurement work steps, and this brief description only describes the main links of instrument designers cooperating with procurement work to ensure that the purchased goods meet the requirements of instrument design and the needs of engineering construction.
B.2 Preparation of procurement technical documents
B.2. 1 The procurement technical document (commonly known as MR) is a document in which the designer puts forward the specifications, materials, technical performance, quantity and quality requirements for the products supplied by the supplier. It consists of the following documents: Instrument purchase order (REQUISITION FOR INSTRUMENT) 1
2 Instrument design specification (SPECIFICATION FOR INSTRUMENT DESIGN) 3 Instrument technical specification (SPECFICATION FOR INSTRUMENT) 4 Instrument data sheet (INSTRUMENT DATA SHEET) 5 Instrument inspection and test regulations (INSPECTION AND TEST FOR INSTRUMENT) B.2.2 The preparation of procurement technical documents shall comply with the following provisions: 1 The instrument purchase order is a unified provision for engineering procurement. The professional design person in charge shall prepare the instrument purchase order for the engineering project according to the provisions of "Preparation of Instrument Purchase Order" (HG/T20637.5). Engineering designers should fill in and select relevant contents according to different types of products. 2. Instrument design regulations are unified regulations for engineering design. They are prepared by the professional person in charge according to the requirements of "Preparation of Instrument Design Regulations" (HG/T20637.3) based on the specific requirements for the instrument profession in the design contract or contracting contract of the project and the characteristics of chemical process production (based on the commencement report), and are issued after being signed by the chief engineer, design manager or project manager. It is only applicable to suppliers when the unit is delivered as a package (PACKAGE): to ensure that the instrument selection is consistent.
3. Instrument technical specifications are common technical requirements for this type of instrument. According to "Preparation of Instrument Technical Specifications", various standard industry materials can be downloaded for free.
