GB/T 16288—1996 This standard is equivalent to the German standard DIN6120-1992 "Recycling Marking of Packaging Materials and Packaging Articles: Additional Labels for Plastic Packaging Materials and Packaging Articles". The recycling mark for plastic packaging products specified in this standard is similar to the "recycling mark" designed by DIN6120 and the American Plastics Industry Association (SPI). It also has an equilateral triangle composed of three arrows, seven plastic codes and corresponding abbreviation codes. However, its scope of application is wider, not only applicable to plastic packaging products, but also to other plastic products. In addition, the content of this standard is also more comprehensive, adding specific chapters on the production, color, number and location of recycling marks for plastic packaging products. This standard was proposed by the China Light Industry General Association. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Plastic Products. The drafting units of this standard are: Plastic Processing and Application Research Institute of China Light Industry General Association, Plastic Industry Office of China Light Industry General Association. The main drafters of this standard are: Cao Tongzhang, Liao Zhengpin, and Weng Yunxuan. 151 1 Scope National Standard of the People's Republic of China Marking for plastic packing products recycling Marking for plastic packing products recycling This standard specifies the marking for plastic packaging products recycling and the method of indicating it.
