This standard is formulated for the first time. This standard specifies the test method for ignition of sprays (aerosols) in enclosed spaces. This standard applies to sprays (aerosols) whose flammability cannot be determined in the ignition distance test. This standard corresponds to the United Nations "Manual of Tests and Criteria for the Transport of Dangerous Goods Recommendations" (4th revised edition), and its consistency is non-equivalent. Its relevant technical content is completely consistent with the above manual, and the standard text format has been edited according to GB/T1.1-2000. The following terms and definitions established in the United Nations "Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods Model Regulations" (14th revised edition) and ASTM D240 apply to this standard...
Flammable gasammable gas
A gas that can ignite when the volume of the gas mixed with air is 13% or less under the conditions of 20 standard atmospheres (101.3 kPa).
Spray or aerosol, aerosols
Spray or aerosol is a non-refillable container made of metal, glass or plastic, containing pressurized compressed, liquefied or dissolved gas, with or without liquid, foam or powder, and equipped with a release device that can spray the contents in the form of solid or liquid suspended particles, dispersed in the air, forming gas, foam, paste or powder, or in liquid or gaseous state. 4 Equipment and Materials
4.1 Constant humidity water tank: accuracy ±1°C
4.3 Heater: accuracy ±0.1%
4.4 Timer (stopwatch): sugar content +0.2s: 4.5 Mixometer; accuracy mainly 1°C
4.6 Hygrometer: accuracy ±5%
4.7 Pressure gauge: accuracy 10.1 Fa.
4.8 Cylindrical test container, see Appendix A Figure A.1. 4.9 Metal stand for candles, see Appendix A Figure A.2.5 Test preparation
5.1 Prepare 3 test specimens, the paint content of which reaches the indicated amount of the product (referred to as full volume). 5.2 Use a bomb calorimeter to measure the heat of combustion of the spray GB/11 216312008
5.3 Take all safety precautions to prevent inhalation of hazardous substances and fire. 6 Test steps
6.1 This test should be carried out in a ventilated but airless environment, with the temperature controlled at 20℃-5 and the relative humidity controlled at 30%~80%. 6.2 Take three full test samples and completely immerse them in a constant temperature water bath at 20℃±1℃ and balance for 30 trx6.3 Measure or calculate the actual volume of the test container in dn. 6.4 Determine the internal pressure and initial discharge rate at 20℃±1℃ (to exclude defective products and fully filled sprays). 6.5 Weigh each sample,
6.6 Before the test begins, each spray must be sprayed for 1' to exclude unmixed matter that enters the pipette. 6.7 The spray nozzle should be strictly followed during the test. The position of the spray nozzle can be vertical or horizontal at will; if it needs to be rotated, it should be changed before the test. 6.8 Light a candle with a diameter of 20 mm49 mm and a height of 100 mm (when the height is 80 mm, the candle should be replaced). 6.9 Place the lit candle in the middle of the circular test container and cover it with a sealing system (candle or plastic film). 6.10 Move the spray nozzle to the innermost stable position (see Figure 1) 6.11 Turn on the spray spray and record the time when the spray stops. 6.12 Wait until the spray occurs. When it stops, record the time. 6.13 Ventilate and clean the circular acid container to remove any residue that may affect the subsequent test. Wait for the container to cool down.
6 Select the test, do one test for each sample
6.14H Repeat for the remaining 2 samples 6.
7 Conclusion
7.1 The test report should include the following elements: 7.1.1 The product to be tested and its introduction.
7.1.2 The internal repellency and emission rate of the aerosol. 7.1.3 The temperature and relative humidity of the laboratory. 7.1.4 The time required for each test to reach combustion in seconds (s) (If the product does not produce combustion, indicate it) 7.1.5 The mass of the product sprayed during the test - grams (g). 7.1.6 The heat of combustion of the aerosol - dry char/gram (kJ/g). 7.2 Calculation
7.2.1 The time equivalent (ta) required to achieve combustion in one cubic space is calculated as follows: 1000xt
Where:
-time equivalent;
t-injection time, in seconds (s);
actual volume of the cylinder, in cubic decimeters (dm3). 7.2. The deflagration density (D) required to achieve combustion in -cubic meter of space is calculated as follows: D
D. Deflagration density;
M-. Mass of product injection, in grams (g); 1 000xM
actual volume of the cylinder, in um. 7.3 The three test values are calculated as follows. GB/T 21631—2008
7.4 The chemical combustion potential of aerosols is determined by the average value of the time required for combustion (t) or the deflagration density (D) required for combustion: it is called flammability.
7.5 Judgment standard: When the aerosol has a flammable density of
or is greater than 300s/m
, the aerosol is non-flammable. When bZxz.net
is less than kJ/ and the time (ca) is less than
, the aerosol is flammable. In addition, the determination of 79

Cylindrical test container
A.1 A cylindrical test container with a diameter of about 600 mm, a length of about 720 mm and a volume of about 200 dm. A.? The open end of the test container is connected to a sealing system by a chain A.3 The closed end of the test container can be replaced by a 0.01mm~-0.02mm rubber film. If a plastic film is used for testing, the following steps are followed:
1) Cover the opening end of any cylindrical test container with a film net and fix it with a rubber band; the rubber band should be strong enough that when a 0.45kg weight is hung at the lowest end, its extension is only 25mm. 2) A 25mm crack is made on the film 50mm from the edge. Note that the film is in a taut state. A.4 On the other end of the circular test container, a hole with a diameter of 50mm is made 1.00mm from the edge. When the container is laid down for testing, the hole should be at the most extreme side of the container (see Figure A.1). 10o rm

When the fin height is less than 80 mm, replace it with a new one. To protect the flame of the cylinder from the influence of the spray, a baffle of 150 mm wide and 200 mm high is used, which includes a flat plate inclined at an angle of 45° 150 mm from the bottom of the baffle (see Figure A.2).
