7.2 Gears with high surface activity (refining: 6-grade gears) should be treated with carburizing or nitriding. Gears with high resistance to moisture should be treated with nitriding, micro-carburizing or oxygen treatment. However, nitriding or oxygen-sulfurized gears should be used in situations where the impact of the gear is large.

2 Power worm and worm gear
The spiral lubrication of the dynamic cutting worm gear must be hardened. The heavy-load end rod that bears the impact is carbonized. The rod that requires high anti-glue ability and wear resistance can be treated with variable package (or nitrogen-carbon co-painting or sulfur-nitrogen-carbon co-diffusion). If the treatment piece is not processed, it is only suitable for worms with low speed (below grade): general worms can be treated with annealing (surface rolling annealing). The quenching and tempering treatment is only suitable for low speed, small and medium load worms.
Power wheel is made of tin or cast iron. 2CuSn10P1 is suitable for high-speed worm gears, 7.CuSn67.nGPb3. is suitable for medium-speed worm gears, ZCuA110Fe3 is suitable for low-speed and heavy-duty wheels. Cast titanium wheels can be used for lower loads. Heavy-duty copper wheels should use alloy molds or centrifugal wheels. Static pressure worm gears can use coated plastics. 9 Spline shaft
Spline shaft materials and heat treatment technical requirements are shown in Table 13. Spline shafts with small torque or general precision can be heat-treated (or tempered), or easy-to-cut non-quenched and tempered steel YF40MmV and YF4SMV can be used. Sliding inner wheel with high movement frequency or high precision should use compression steel; spline shafts with large torque and high mesh size should use alloy carbon steel or alloy steel. The rack with high working frequency should be strained by the method of decompression filtration (or double reduction or nitrogen-carbon coating). The rack with low resistance can be pierced as a whole. The rack with small or large internal structure can be hardened without hardening measures. The rack with high quality should be made of free-cutting non-quenched and tempered steel YF40MnV or YF4SMnV. The housing is generally made of cast titanium and subjected to high temperature aging treatment. The housing with high requirements such as HT3(HI or HT350 is used. The housing with high requirements such as HT200 or HT250 is used. The housing with high strength requirements can be made of ductile iron QT600-3. The housing produced by Xiaobei adopts 45 pins or Q235 steel welded structure. These pins must also be subjected to high temperature aging treatment.
