Light Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China Methods of classifying types of weighing instruments Methods of classifying types of weighing instruments 1 Subject content and applicable scope This standard specifies the method of classifying types of weighing instruments. This standard applies to weighing instruments other than balances and beam scales. 2 Method of compilation 2.1 The model of a weighing instrument consists of Chinese phonetic letters and Arabic numerals. The order of the components is as follows: - Type code -Revision serial number -Maximum weighing capacity or specification Indication form QB1563-—1992 Force transmission structure or conversion characteristics 2.2 The category, force transmission structure or conversion characteristics and indication form are all represented by uppercase Chinese phonetic letters with representative meanings. These three letters constitute the basic part of the product model. 2.3 The maximum weighing capacity shall be indicated by printed Arabic numerals in tons (t) and kilograms (kg). The maximum weighing capacity ≤ 1000 kg shall be in dry grams (kg), and the maximum weighing capacity > 1000 kg shall be in tons (t). The maximum weighing capacity of belt scales and hopper scales can be indicated by specifications. 2.4 When the performance and structure of a product have been significantly reformed and it is necessary to re-produce and evaluate, the modified serial number shall be indicated by uppercase printed Chinese phonetic letters A, BC... (except the two letters IO) and written on the right side of the maximum weighing capacity to distinguish it from the original product model. 2.5 The type code shall be indicated by uppercase printed Chinese phonetic letters according to Appendix A (Supplement). It is set to distinguish products of the same model but different types. The basic part of the model, the maximum weighing capacity (including the modification serial number), and the form code are separated by "\". 3 Code 3.1 Category code is shown in Table 1.
