This standard replaces JB/T5344.1—1991 "General Rules for Submerged Arc Furnace Transformers". Compared with JB/T5344.11991, the main changes of this standard are as follows: the name of the standard is changed to "General Principles of Submerged Arc Furnace Transformers"; the writing rules of the standard are in accordance with the provisions of GB/T1.1-2000 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Writing Rules of Standards";
The allowable deviation of short-circuit impedance is changed from ±15% to ±10% (see Table 3 in 5.3); the requirements for the ability of transformers to withstand short circuits are added (see 5.5); the informative appendix "Water-cooled outlet terminals of submerged arc furnace transformers" (see Appendix A) is modified. Appendix A of this standard is an informative appendix.
This standard is proposed by the China Machinery Industry Federation. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Transformer Standardization (SAC/TC44). The drafting units of this standard are: Shenyang Transformer Research Institute, Changchun Transformer Co., Ltd. 1 Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test items and methods, and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of submerged arc furnace transformers. This standard applies to oil-immersed submerged arc furnace transformers. 2 Normative references

3 Terms and definitions
Terms and definitions established in GB/T2900.1, GB/T2900.15 and GBI094.1 apply to this standard. 4 Product classification
4.1 Submerged arc furnace transformers can be divided into yellow phosphorus furnace transformers, calcium carbide furnace transformers, ferroalloy furnace transformers and other types of submerged arc furnace transformers according to the corresponding submerged arc furnace classification method. 4 .1.1 The product models of various types of submerged arc furnace transformers shall comply with the provisions of JB/T3837. 4.1.2 The rated capacity of submerged arc furnace transformers shall preferably adopt the priority numbers specified in Table 1. When the use requirements cannot be met, other special capacity values ​​may be selected.
The rated capacity of the single-phase submerged arc furnace transformer that constitutes the three-phase transformer group should be 1/3 of the value specified in Table 1, and the rated capacity of other single-phase submerged arc furnace transformers should also adopt the priority numbers specified in Table 1. The rated capacity specifications and performance parameters of different types of submerged arc furnace transformers are determined according to the corresponding standards. 5 Technical requirements
5.1 Conditions of use
5.1.1 The normal operating conditions of submerged arc furnace transformers shall comply with the provisions of GB1094.1 for indoor transformers. 5.1.2 The special operating conditions of submerged arc furnace transformers shall be determined by negotiation between the manufacturer and the user. 5.2 Temperature rise limit and cooling method marking
The temperature rise limit of submerged arc furnace transformers with insulation material heat resistance grade A at 1.1 times the rated current shall not exceed the provisions of Table 2. Table 2 Temperature rise limit

5.6.4 The oil level gauge, signal thermometer, signboard, grounding bolt, tap changer operating mechanism and heat dissipation device of the submerged arc furnace transformer shall not be placed on the secondary side.
