1 Scope
This part of GB/T 38003 specifies the principles and methods for the classification of facilities in general military and civilian resources, the coding principles, methods and code structure, and provides a facility classification code table and a facility base name code table.
GB/T 38003.6 is applicable to the processing and exchange of facility information in general military and civilian resources.

4 Classification principles and methods
4.1 Classification principles
The principles for classifying facilities in military and civilian common resources are as follows:
a) Adapt to the classification of national defense mobilization business;
b) Land classification should follow the classification principles determined in GB/T 21010-2017;
c) Sea area classification should follow the classification principles determined in HY/T 123-2009;
d) Building classification should follow the classification principles determined in GB/T 51269-2017.
This part specifies the principles and methods for classifying facilities in military and civilian common resources, coding principles, methods and code structures, and provides a facility classification code table and a facility base name code table. This part applies to the processing and exchange of facility information in military and civilian common resources.

Classification principles
The principles for classifying facilities in military and civilian common resources are as follows: a) Adapt to the classification of national defense mobilization business;
b) The classification of land should follow the classification principles determined by GB/T21010-2017; the classification of sea areas should follow the classification principles determined by HY/T123-2009; c)
The classification of buildings should follow the classification principles determined by GB/T512692017. d)

Coding principles
The classification code of facilities in military and civilian common resources should follow the coding requirements of GB/T37936-2019. Coding method
The classification code of facilities in the military and civilian common resources adopts a 7-digit alphanumeric code, in which: the first letter "T" represents the classification code that is not directly quoted from the United Nations Standard Products and Services Code (UNSPSC); the last 6 digits are hierarchical coded and divided into 3 layers, each layer uses 2 Arabic numerals, representing major categories, medium categories and minor categories respectively; the major category codes range from 20 to 39, and 39 represents the containment category.
