This standard is equivalent to the international standard ISO8097 "Aircraft-Minimum airworthiness requirements and test conditions for certified air cargo unit load devices". This standard is equivalent to the American Aerospace Standard NAS3610 "Technical requirements for cargo unit load devices" by cover method. 1 Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the minimum requirements and test conditions for certified air cargo unit load devices (including pallets, nets and containers) installed in certified aircraft.
This standard applies to the following levels of aircraft loading and restraint system load devices: a. Level 1 load device restraint meets all flight and ground load conditions, including 9g forward emergency landing state b. All other level I load device restraints 2 Terminology
2.1 Unit load device
A device for combining, conveying and restraining cargo for transportation. It is composed of pallets and nets, or containers. 2.2 Pallet
A device for combining and securing cargo before loading on an aircraft. It has standard dimensions and is composed of a flat plate with a flat bottom surface and a frame. 2.3 Net
A net mounted on a pallet for restraint. It is usually a braided net or a rope net. 2.4 Restraint systems A device for supporting a unit load on an aircraft and preventing it from moving. It is usually composed of rollers (balls, rollers, wheels, etc.), side guides, and locks that secure the unit load to the aircraft structure, but does not include unit loads, arresting nets, and tie-down straps. 3 Classification and code
3.1 Category
3.1.1 Category 1
Unit load device for Class I restraint system. The code is 1. a. Class I nets are used in the Class I restraint system and can also be used in the Class I restraint system; b. Class I pallets are used together with Class I nets in the Class I restraint system and can also be used together with Class 1 or Class I nets in the Class I restraint system; c. Class I containers are used in the Class I restraint system and can also be used in the Class I restraint system. 3.1.2 Class I
is only used for the container unit of the Class II restraint system. The code is 2. Class I nets, pallets and containers are only used in the Class I restraint system. 3.2 Specifications
The specifications of the container unit shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. Approved by the National Technical Supervision Commission on July 19, 1994 and implemented on April 1, 1995.

4.1 Materials
Container units
(Class I)
Load conditions
(See Table 3)
Limiting conditions
(See Table 4)
The suitability and durability of materials must be determined based on experience or tests. Materials must comply with the provisions of approved national or industry standards that ensure their design performance.
4.2 Manufacturing process
The manufacturing method must be able to produce a structure that is always intact. When the manufacturing process (such as bonding, heat treatment, etc.) requires strict control, it must be carried out in accordance with approved process documents. The manufacturing process should comply with the relevant standards or regulations for aircraft manufacturing. 4.3 Protection measures
All parts must be properly protected in areas where the quality of the material or the strength may be reduced due to weather, corrosion, scratches or other reasons during use. Where necessary, the container unit must have ventilation or drainage measures for
4.4 Structure
GB/T15140--94
The structure of the container unit should be designed to fully contain the goods and allow the goods to be properly supported and restrained. All parts should be able to withstand rough loading and unloading. The structural design of the container unit should minimize the possibility of incorrect installation. The connection dimensions of the net and the container board shown in this standard drawing only ensure their interchangeability. 4.5 Marking
Each pallet, net and container must be clearly and permanently marked with the following information in a position that is still clearly visible after loading: a.
Name and address of the manufacturer;
Mass (weight) of the container unit, kg; b.
Date of manufacture or serial number, or both; d.
The identification code of the container unit specified in Article 3.5 of this standard; If the container unit has a directional requirement, the words "forward", "backward" and "sideways" must be clearly and appropriately marked; e.
f. The burning rate of the container unit determined in Article 4.7 of this standard; the applicable Technical Standard Regulations (TSO) number of the Civil Aviation Administration of China. g.
4.6 Inspection measures
Effective inspection methods must be available for each part that requires inspection, adjustment or lubrication. 4.7 Fireproof
The materials used for pallets, nets and container structures shall comply with the relevant provisions of Part 25 of the Civil Aviation Regulations of China (CCAR25). 4.8 Rapid decompression
The container unit must be designed to protect the aircraft structure and occupants in the event of sudden decompression. The suitability of its design shall be determined by analysis and testing.
4.9 Dimensions and Tolerances
Each pallet, net, and container of this standard shall conform to the requirements specified in its configuration drawing. Unless otherwise specified, the tolerances for dimensions in all configuration drawings shall be ±0.24 mm (±0.010 in) for three decimal places, ±0.7 mm (±0.03 in) for two decimal places, and ±2.4 mm (±0.1 in) for one decimal place. 4.10 Strength
Each unit configuration shall conform to all load conditions and corresponding limit conditions specified in Table 2 for that configuration. 4.10.1 Limit Load Criteria
The limit loads for each load condition shall conform to those specified in Table 3. Except as otherwise specified in the notes, these loads shall be considered to act individually and shall be applied at the specified center of gravity limits. Longitudinal eccentricity is expressed as a percentage of the longitudinal dimension of the pallet or container bottom and is measured from the transverse centerline of the pallet or container bottom. The longitudinal dimension corresponds to the forward and rearward directions specified by the view in the corresponding figure. Conversely, the transverse eccentricity is expressed as a percentage of the transverse dimension. The plus and minus signs indicate the forward and rearward directions of the transverse centerline of the pallet or container bottom or the right and left directions of the longitudinal centerline, respectively. The height of the center of gravity is expressed as the dimension above the surface of the pallet or container bottom. 111

4.10.3 Container board and net
GB/T 15140-94
When verifying a container board (or net) alone, the qualified net (or container board) with the same configuration code can be used for analysis or testing. Qualified and compatible nets (or container boards) with different configuration codes that have strength requirements equal to or greater than the verified container board (or net) can also be used. All net connectors with mooring connectors connecting container boards should have a minimum load capacity of 8.90kN (2000lbs) (limit) in all directions (horizontal to vertical), and the load application point should be located 21.08mm (0.83in) or less from the top of the mooring connector. Unless otherwise specified, all tie-down rails incorporated in the pallet structure shall have a minimum load capacity of 8.90 kN (2000 lbs) (limit) in all directions (horizontal to vertical), with the load application point located 22.86 mm (0.90 in) or greater from the bottom of the guide groove. Except for tie-down joints and rail-type connectors, the tie-down connectors of pallets or nets shall have a minimum load capacity of 8.90 kN (2000 lbs) (limit) in all directions (horizontal to vertical). 4.11 Loading
This standard does not specify the maximum gross weight of the container unit. The actual gross weight limit of the container unit for a given aircraft shall be determined in accordance with China Civil Aviation Regulations Part 25 (CCAR25) and included in the approved mass (weight) and balance manual for the aircraft. 5 Testing
Tests and analyses shall be conducted to show compliance with the provisions of this standard. 148
