This part is the first part of GB/T15224. Compared with GB/T15224.1--1994, the main changes are as follows: the name of the standard is changed from "coal quality classification and coal ash classification" to "coal quality classification", and coking coal and power coal are classified separately (Chapter 2 of the previous version, Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 of this part); the classification of precious coal ash content is changed from the original 6 to 4 (Chapter 2 of the previous version, Chapter 3 and Chapter 1 of this part), and the blast furnace spray coal and coking fine coal developed in recent years are classified according to the same requirements (Chapter 5 of this part). This standard is proposed by China Coal Industry Association. This standard is issued by the National Coal Standardization Technical Committee. The originating unit of this standard: Beijing Coal Chemical Research Institute, General Research Institute of Coal Development, Linhe Mantian Coal Industry Co., Ltd., the main drafters of this standard are Liu Shuyun, Wu Yibo, Tu Hua, and Zhang Xiaozhou. This standard was first revised and issued in 1991, and this standard is the first revision. This standard replaces GB/T15221.1-1594 from the date of entry into force.
