Introduction to standards:

This standard specifies the method for determining the density of liquid resins using a pycnometer. This standard is applicable to the determination of the density of low-viscosity and medium-viscosity liquid resins; it can also be used for high-viscosity liquid resins, but the operation is more difficult. This standard is equivalent to the international standard S(1675-1) - Coagulated resin - Determination of density by pycnometer method 3.1 Purpose and applicable scope
This standard specifies the method of using pycnometer to determine the density of liquid resin. This standard is applicable to the determination of the density of low-viscosity and medium-viscosity resins. It can also be used for high-viscosity resins, but the operation is more difficult. 2 Principle
Determine the mass of the resin in a known volumetric specific gravity at 23°C and divide it by the constant volume of specific gravity to obtain the density of the resin. Expressed in /mL.
3
31 The short neck of the specific gravity bottle is thick, and the height of the neck above the scale line shall not exceed 5Dmm. Its parameters shall meet the requirements of the following table.
The volume of the specific gravity bottle is V
The internal space of the specific gravity bottle is 1U or 1UU mL. The volume is 15-20 mm above the scale line. The F-grinding mouth is connected. The volume of the specific gravity bottle at 23 ± 0.1 is measured by the effective water or deionized water in the specific gravity bottle at this temperature. 3.2. The length of the lubricating pipe should be as large as possible: the specific gravity bottle should not be connected quickly. 3.3 The specific gravity bottle should be adjusted within the range of 0.2mR.
3.4 The temperature fluctuation of the constant temperature water supply should be within the range of +0.1. 3.5 Fine-touch paper.
3.6 The volume of the conical bottle is 200~600mL. 3.7 The oven can be set at 105±5℃.
4 Operation steps
4.1 Put at least 150α resin into the conical bottle, and check whether there are bubbles in the resin in the bottle. If there are bubbles, add water until the bubbles disappear. Immerse the conical bottle containing the resin directly in 23% water until the bubbles in the bottle reach the test temperature. 4.2 Drain the specific gravity bottle and bake it in an oven at 105±5℃. After taking it out and placing it in the room, weigh it accurately to 0.2mB. National Thermal Technology Supervision Week 1994-09-24 approved 1995-08-0T implementation
GA/T15223-94
4.3 Use a funnel to add the resin in the cone to the specific gravity bottle until it reaches the scale or the mark. When taking out the funnel, its tip should not touch the inner wall of the specific gravity bottle, and the resin in the bottle should not be mixed with the internal bubbles. If there is a gas pool, the gas in the static chamber will disappear. If necessary, use a fine wire to carry the specific gravity bottle to remove the bubbles, or empty the resin, clean and dry the specific gravity bottle, and then add the resin again. 4.4 Put the specific gravity bottle with resin in a warm water bath at 23+0.1C, keep it leaking for at least 30 minutes, and check whether the water surface of the resin in the specific gravity bottle is on the scale line. If not, add resin or use fine filter paper to remove excess resin. 4.5 Take the pycnometer containing the resin out of the water bath, filter and precipitate it, and weigh it accurately to 0.2mg. 5.1 Calculate the density of the resin at 23℃ by the formula: The apparent mass of the resin in the pycnometer at 23℃ + the apparent mass of the empty pycnometer at 23℃. The apparent mass of the resin in the pycnometer at 23℃ is calculated ...
The apparent mass P of the specific gravity bottle containing distilled water at 23°C.
6Tolerance
The density of distilled water or deionized water at 23°C is equal to (5×6/mL): The absolute value of the difference between the two values is not greater than 0.001 g/mL. Test report
The test report should include the following contents:
Reference to technical standards;
Name, type, batch number, manufacturer and production date of the test sample; b.
c. Factors that may affect the test results, such as the test age and the release time. Addendum: GB/T15223-94 This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China and is under the jurisdiction of the Technical Committee on Plastics Standardization and the Technical Committee on Plastics Physical Properties and Mechanical Methods. This standard was drafted by the Chengdu Organic Silicone Research Center. The main drafter of this standard is Mr. Chen.
