"Standard for geotechnical test methods"
Construction Standard [1999] No. 148
According to the requirements of the State Planning Commission's "1994 Engineering Construction Standard Quota Formulation and Revision Plan (Annex 9 to Document No. 1994240 of the State Planning Commission), the "Standard for geotechnical test methods" revised by the Ministry of Water Resources and relevant departments has been reviewed and approved as a recommended national standard by relevant departments, with the number GB/T50123-1999, and will be implemented on October 1, 1999. The original national standard "Standard for geotechnical test methods" GBJ123-88 will be abolished at the same time. This standard is managed by the Ministry of Water Resources, the Nanjing Hydraulic Science Research Institute is responsible for the specific interpretation work, and the Standard and Quota Research Institute of the Ministry of Construction organizes the China Planning Press to publish and distribute it. This standard is based on the spirit of the National Planning Commission's Comprehensive Document No. 1994240. It was revised by the Nanjing Hydraulic Science Research Institute in conjunction with relevant units on the basis of the national standard "Standard for Geotechnical Test Methods" GBJ123-88 promulgated in 1988. During the revision process of this standard, domestic and foreign data were collected, and research and discussion were carried out repeatedly. In combination with the needs of domestic engineering development, a discussion draft and a draft for soliciting opinions were proposed on this basis. After extensive solicitation of opinions, a draft for submission was proposed after multiple revisions. Finally, it was finalized after expert review.
This standard consists of 35 chapters and four appendices. It supplements and modifies the original standard, and adds seven tests and one method compared with the original standard. The main contents are: 1. According to the provisions of the national legal measurement units, some nouns and measurement units of chemical tests are modified, and a chapter on terms and symbols is added. 2. In the physical test items, some test methods are supplemented and modified, such as the determination of frozen soil moisture content in the moisture content test, and the salt washing step is added to the particle analysis test. In addition to supplementing some tests, the mechanical test items have added the rebound modulus test and the strain-controlled continuous loading consolidation test (the research results of the topic after the promulgation of GBJ123-88). The bearing ratio test, the Huangshi collapsibility test and the chemical test of soil have been greatly modified in terms of methods.
4. Added physical tests for frozen soil samples, including frozen soil density test, freezing temperature test, unfrozen moisture content test, thermal conductivity test, frost heave test and frozen soil melting compression test.
5. Each test record sheet is included in Appendix D
The appendix includes the collation of test data and test reports: sample requirements and management, and general requirements for indoor main instruments to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test data. Appendix D is a record sheet for each test for reference. This standard is managed by the Ministry of Water Resources, and the Nanjing Hydraulic Science Research Institute is responsible for the specific interpretation. It is hoped that all units will pay attention to accumulating experience during use, and send suggestions and opinions to the Nanjing Hydraulic Science Research Institute (address: No. 223 Guangzhou Road, Nanjing: Postal Code 210029) for reference in future revisions. China Construction
1 General
1.0.1. This standard is specially formulated to determine the basic engineering properties of soil, unify the test methods, and provide reliable parameters for engineering design and construction. 1.0.2 This standard is applicable to the basic engineering properties test of foundation soil and filling soil materials for various types of projects such as industrial and civil construction, water conservancy, transportation, etc. 1.0.3 In this standard, soil is divided into only two categories: coarse-grained soil and fine-grained soil. The name of the soil shall be determined according to the current national standard "Soil Classification Standard" GBI145. 1.0.4 The collation of geotechnical test data shall estimate the characteristics of the soil unit and its change rules through the study of samples (test data), so that the results of geotechnical tests can provide accurate and reliable geotechnical indicators for engineering design and construction. The analysis and collation of test results shall be carried out according to Appendix A.
1.0.5 The instruments and equipment of geotechnical test departments shall be adopted in accordance with the current national standard "Basic Parameters and General Technical Conditions of Geotechnical Instruments" GB/T15406, and shall be regularly inspected and calibrated according to the current relevant regulations.
