3.1 The names of officials' positions are pure position names without departmental attributes, such as "office director", "research director", and "workshop director" only take the position of "director".
3.2 This standard adopts the face classification method. The entire cadre position name is divided into two faces. The first face is the cadre position name main face, and the second face is the cadre position name feature face.

4.1 The code for the cadre position name is composed of a three-digit code and a digit-letter code. The three-digit code represents the main page of the cadre position name, and the digit-letter code represents the feature page of the cadre position name. Xxx

Example: The code for Assistant Secretary General is: 102J
4.2 When the main page of the cadre position name is the same as the name of the professional and technical position, the main code adopts the code in GB8561, and such codes are marked with "*". For example, in this standard, the position of "chief engineer" has the same main body "engineer" as the position of "engineer" in GB8561. The main body State Technical Supervision Bureau approved it on July 5, 1990 and implemented it on May 1, 1991. The code of GB 12403--90 adopts the code "083" of the engineer in GB8561, and the characteristic side adopts the code "Q" of "general" in the characteristic code table.
