3 Definition

4.1 The storage of hazardous chemicals must comply with national laws, regulations and other relevant provisions. 4.2 Hazardous chemicals must be stored in special hazardous chemical warehouses approved by the public security department. The storage of hazardous chemicals and the storage quantity in the self-managed warehouses of the distribution departments must be approved by the public security department. Hazardous chemical storage warehouses shall not be set up without approval. 4.3 The open-air storage of hazardous chemicals shall comply with the safety requirements of fire prevention and explosion prevention. Explosives, first-level flammable materials, materials that burn when wet, and highly toxic materials shall not be stored in the open air.
4.4 Warehouses storing hazardous chemicals must be equipped with technicians with professional knowledge. Their warehouses and places should be managed by special personnel. 4.6 Signs
Stored hazardous chemicals should have obvious signs, which should comply with the provisions of GB190. When two or more dangerous goods of different levels are stored in the same area, the performance mark of the highest level dangerous goods shall be used. 4.7 Storage method

4.8 Storage shall be carried out in different areas, classifications and warehouses according to the performance of dangerous goods. All kinds of dangerous goods shall not be stored together with prohibited materials. For the configuration of prohibited materials, see Appendix A (reference). 4.9 Smoking and open flames are strictly prohibited in buildings and areas where dangerous chemicals are stored. 5 Requirements for storage places
5.1 Buildings storing dangerous chemicals shall not have basements or other underground buildings. 5.3.2 Power transmission and distribution lines, lamps, fire accident lights and evacuation signs in chemical hazardous materials storage areas or buildings should all comply with safety committee requirements.
5.3.3 Lightning protection equipment must be installed in buildings storing flammable and explosive chemical hazardous materials. 5.4 Ventilation or temperature adjustment in storage places
5.4.1 Ventilation equipment must be installed in buildings storing chemical hazardous materials, and attention should be paid to the protective measures of the equipment. 5.4.2 The ventilation and exhaust systems of buildings storing chemical hazardous materials should be equipped with grounding devices that can remove static electricity. 5.4.3 Ventilation pipes should be made of non-combustible materials. 5.4.4 Ventilation ducts should not pass through fireproof partitions such as firewalls. If they must pass through, they should be separated by non-combustible materials. 5.4.5 The heat medium overflow of the building heating for storing hazardous chemicals should not be too high, and the hot water should not exceed 80℃. Steam heating and mechanical heating shall not be used.

6.3 Hazardous chemicals that can cause combustion, explosion or chemical reaction when exposed to fire, heat or moisture, and produce toxic gases shall not be stored in the open air or in damp or waterlogged buildings.
