National Standard of the People's Republic of China Method for determination of coercivity (magnetization) of cemented carbideHardmetals-determination of (the magnetization) coercivityUDC621.762.1 :620.179.14 GB 3848-83 ISO3326-1975 This standard is applicable to the determination of coercivity (magnetization) of cemented carbide containing more than 3% ferromagnetic material as a binder. This standard is equivalent to ISO3326-1975 "Determination of coercivity (magnetization) of cemented carbide". Principle The sample is magnetized to the technical magnetic saturation state in the current magnetic field, and then the size of the reverse magnetic field required to completely demagnetize the sample (M=0) is the coercivity (magnetization) HcM to be measured. 2 Symbols and names The unit of coercive (magnetic) force HkM is A/m, which is the magnitude of the reverse magnetic field required to reduce the magnetization intensity of the sample to zero (see the figure below). Magnetic field intensity Magnetic intensity of the sample Saturation magnetization intensity Coercive (magnetic) force The equipment should be able to magnetize the sample to the technical saturation state in the DC magnetic field and demagnetize it. 3.1 3.2The accuracy of the equipment is 0.2kA/m for the correction magnetic force within 20kA/m; 1% for more than 20kA/m. 3.3In order to make the sample reach technical magnetic saturation, the magnetic field intensity should be 200~400kA/m, which is generally determined according to the type of equipment used. Issued by the National Bureau of Standards on September 14, 1983 Implementation on September 1, 1984 Sampling shall be carried out in accordance with relevant regulations. 5 Steps GB 3848--83 Place the sample in a DC magnetic field so that its long axis is aligned with the direction of the magnetic field, and magnetize the sample to the technical magnetic state. 5.1bzxz.net 5.2 Demagnetize the sample in an opposing DC magnetic field. The speed of demagnetization must be slow enough to obtain the accuracy listed in 3.2. 5.3 Determine the coercive (magnetic) force tM of the demagnetized sample. 6 Expression of results The result of the determination of the coercive (magnetic) force lkw should be rounded to 0.1 kA/m. 7 Test report This standard number, Details required to identify the sample; Measured results; All operating conditions not specified in this standard or optional; Any conditions that have affected the results. Additional remarks: This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry of the People's Republic of China. This standard was drafted by the responsible person of the cemented carbide factory. Tip: This standard content only shows part of the intercepted content of the complete standard.
