3 Technical requirements
GB5106—85
3.1 The surfaces of the spline gauge should not have rust, cracks and burrs, and the measuring surface should not have black spots, scratches and other defects that obviously affect the appearance and quality of use.
3.2 The connection between the probe and the handle of the spline plug gauge should be firm and reliable, and should not loosen or fall off during use. 3.3 Spline gauges should be made of alloy tool steel or other wear-resistant materials. 3. 4 The hardness of the measuring surface of the spline gauge should be HV664 ~825 (HR C 58 ~64). 3.5 The surface roughness of the spline gauge measuring disk shall be no greater than 0.32μm (no less than V9) according to the arithmetic mean deviation Ra value (according to GB1031--83 "Surface Roughness Parameters and Their Values"). 3.6 The spline gauge shall be subjected to stability treatment. 4 Marking and Packaging
4.1 The spline gauge and the product packaging box shall be marked with a. The manufacturer's name or trademark;
