This standard specifies the method for the determination of moisture content of unplasticized cellulose acetate. In order to calculate the dry mass of cellulose acetate used in the analytical method, this method may be required. This method is only applicable to cellulose acetate with a moisture content not exceeding 10%. 2 Principle
The sample is dried in an oven at 105°C and then weighed. The water content is calculated from the mass loss of the sample. 3 Apparatus

4 Procedure
