Shipbuilding Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China CB/T3595-94 Stainless steel pickling and passivation paste 1994-10-08 Issued China State Shipbuilding Corporation Issued 1995-08-01 Implementation Shipbuilding Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China Stainless steel pickling and passivation paste 1 Subject content and scope of application CB/T3595-94 Classification number 05 This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of stainless steel pickling and passivation paste (hereinafter referred to as passivation paste). This standard applies to the surface treatment of austenitic stainless steel that combines pickling and passivation. 2 Reference standards GB619 Chemical reagents Chemical reagents Sampling and acceptance rules Hydrofluoric acid Chemical reagents Nitric acid GB983 Stainless steel strips GB3051 3 Terminology General method for determination of chloride content in inorganic chemical products Mercury titration 3.1 Vertical adhesion time The time for the passivation paste applied on the stainless steel surface to remain vertical without displacement. 3.2 Blue dot test color change time Apply the filter paper soaked with blue dot test liquid to the stainless steel surface after passivation treatment. The time when the filter paper shows blue is used to test the quality of the passivation baking. 4 Product classification 4.1 According to the chloride ion content, the products are divided into two levels: Level 1: Chloride ion content is less than or equal to 25mg/kg Level 1: Chloride ion content is greater than 25mg/kg and less than 100mg/kg. 4.2 Product code: 5 Technical requirements 5.1 Main ingredients Product classification code: I, 1 Acid pickling passivation The passivation paste is composed of nitric acid, hydrofluoric acid, corrosion inhibitor, viscosity agent, etc. in a certain proportion. Its density is 1.28~1.30g/cm. 5.2 Appearance Approved by China State Shipbuilding Corporation on October 8, 1994 and implemented on August 1, 1995 CB/T3595-94 The appearance of the passivation paste is a milky white translucent animal-like object. 5.3 Raw materials Nitric acid should comply with the provisions of GB626, and hydrofluoric acid should comply with the provisions of GB620. 5.4 Technical indicators The technical indicators of passivation are shown in Table 1. Chloride ion content Vertical adhesion time (spread thickness 2~3mm) Pickling effect (coating thickness 2~3mm, 50min) Blue point test color change time Artificial seawater coupon corrosion test mmol/kg 5×10~8.5×10 No rust on the surface 5.5 Chemical properties The passivation paste is highly acid corrosive, and corresponding anti-corrosion measures should be taken during packaging, transportation and use. 6 Test methods Visual inspection is used for appearance inspection. The density is determined by volume weight method, and the acidity is determined according to the provisions of Appendix A (Supplement). 6.3 The determination of chloride ion base content shall be carried out in accordance with GB3051. 6.4 The determination of vertical adhesion time shall be carried out in accordance with Appendix B (Supplement). The determination of pickling effect shall be carried out in accordance with Appendix C (Supplement). 6.6 The blue dot test color change time shall be carried out in accordance with Appendix D (Supplement). 6.7 The artificial seawater coupon corrosion test shall be carried out in accordance with Appendix E (Supplement). Inspection rules The quality inspection department of the manufacturer shall be responsible for product inspection and provide an inspection certificate. Batching and sampling shall be carried out in accordance with GB619. 7.3 Type inspection Type inspection should generally be carried out in any of the following situations: 7.3.1 Trial design and identification of new products or old products transferred to the factory for production; b. After formal production, if there are major changes in structure, materials, and processes that may affect product performance, regular inspections should be carried out periodically during normal production or after a certain amount of production has been accumulated; when the product is resumed after a long period of suspension: when the factory inspection results are significantly different from the last type inspection; when the national quality supervision agency proposes a requirement for type inspection. 7.3.2 Type inspection items are shown in Table 2. 5×10~8.5×10* >25~100 No rust on the surface Chloride ion content Vertical adhesion time Pickling effect Blue dot test color change time Artificial seawater coupon corrosion test 7.4 Factory inspection See Table 3 for factory inspection items.
