Some standard content:

GB/T4341--2001
This standard is revised on the basis of GB/T4341-1984 "Metal Shore Hardness Test Method". This standard is equivalent to the Japanese standard JISZ2246--1992 "Metal Shore Hardness Test Method". This standard is the same as JIS2246 in terms of scope of application, principle, symbols, specimens, and test methods. Among them, only two points in the provisions of the specimen are more detailed than JIS2246:
For curved surface specimens, the curvature radius shall not be less than 32mm; the thickness of the specimen shall generally be more than 10mm. Compared with the original standard, the revised standard has the following changes: 1. Added the second reference standard;
-The surface finish of the specimen is changed to be expressed by the surface roughness parameter Ra;-The original standard "the distance between the centers of two adjacent indentations of the specimen shall not be less than 2mm" is changed to "the distance between the centers of two adjacent indentations of the specimen shall not be less than 1mm";
Added Article 8: Test report.
This standard replaces GB/T4341-1984 "Metallic Shore Hardness Test Method" from the date of implementation. This standard was proposed by the former State Metallurgical Industry Bureau. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Steel Standardization. The drafting unit of this standard is the Central Iron and Steel Research Institute. The drafters of this standard are Li Jiulin and Liang Xinbang. This standard was first issued on April 9, 1984. 666
1 Scope
National Standard of the People's Republic of China
Metallic materials--Shore hardness testGB/T 4341-2001
Replaces (GB/T43411984
This standard specifies the principles, symbols and instructions, hardness testers, specimens, test methods and test reports for metal Shore hardness test methods. The Shore hardness test range specified in this standard is 5HS~105HS. 2 Referenced standards
The provisions contained in the following standards constitute the provisions of this standard through reference in this standard. When this standard is published, the versions shown are valid. All standards will be revised, and parties using this standard should explore the possibility of using the latest versions of the following standards. GB/T8170--1987 Numerical Rounding Rules

Technical Conditions
3 Principle
A diamond punch of a specified shape falls on the surface of the sample from a fixed height h, and the punch bounces up to a fixed height h. The Shore hardness value is calculated by the ratio of h to h.
Wherein: HS
Shore hardness;
Shore hardness coefficient.
4 Symbols and Explanations
The Shore hardness symbol is HS, and the symbol after HS indicates the type of hardness tester. Example 1: 25HSC means that the Shore hardness value measured by C type (II test type) Shore hardness tester is 25. Example 2: 51HSD means that the Shore hardness value measured by I type (indicating type) Shore hardness tester is 51.5 Hardness Tester
The main technical parameters of Shore hardness tester are shown in Table 1. Table 1
Main technical parameters of Shore hardness tester
Mass of punch/g
Height of punch drop/nm
Radius of spherical surface at the top of punch/mm
Relationship between rebound ratio of punch and Shore hardness value Type C

5.2Other technical indicators of Shore hardness tester shall comply with the provisions of JB/T8284. 6 Test specimen
6.1 The test surface of the test specimen is generally a plane. For curved test specimens, the radius of curvature of the test surface shall not be less than 32mm. 6.2The mass of the test specimen shall be at least 0.1kg. 6.3 The specimen should be thick enough to ensure that the measured hardness value is not affected by the hardness of the test bench. The thickness of the specimen should generally be above 10 mm.
6.4 The test area of the specimen should be as large as possible and should meet the requirements of 7.? 6.5 For specimens with a Shore hardness of less than 50HS, the surface roughness parameter Ru should not be greater than 1.6μm; when the Shore hardness is greater than 50HS, the surface roughness parameter Ru should not be greater than 0.8um6.6 The surface of the specimen should be free of oxide scale and foreign dirt, especially grease. The specimen should not be magnetic.
7 Test method
7.1 The test is generally carried out at 10 (~ ~ 35 ° C. For tests with strict temperature requirements, it should be carried out within 23 (± 5 ° C. For materials that are sensitive to temperature changes, the test temperature should be specified in the material standard. 7.2 Before the test, the hardness tester should be inspected according to JJG346 using a Shore hardness standard block with a hardness value close to that of the sample. 7.3 During the test, the sample should be placed firmly on the test bench of the rack. Due to the shape, size, mass, etc. of the sample, the measuring stick needs to be removed from the rack and used by hand or placed on a specially shaped bracket. The test results should indicate whether it is hand-held measurement or bracket measurement. 7.4 The hardness tester should be placed on a stable foundation. The measuring cylinder should be kept vertical during the test. The test surface should be perpendicular to the direction of action of the punch. When holding the measuring cylinder according to Article 7.3, special attention should be paid to keeping it vertical. 7.5 When measuring hardness, the pressure on the specimen on the test bench is about 200N (20kgf). When the mass of the specimen is above 20kg, when holding the measuring cylinder or testing on a specially shaped bracket, the pressure on the measuring cylinder should be such that the measuring cylinder remains stable on the specimen. 7.6 For the D-type Shore hardness tester, the rotation time of the operating drum is about 1S, and the reset operation is performed slowly and manually. For the C-type Shore hardness tester, read the instantaneous reading when the punch rebounds to the highest position, which requires the operator to be skilled. 7.7 The center distance between two adjacent indentations of the specimen should not be less than 1 mm. The distance between the center of the indentation and the edge of the specimen should not be less than 4mm. 7.8 It is strictly forbidden to impact the test bench with the punch of the hardness tester. 7.9 The reading of the Shore hardness value should be accurate to 0.5HS; the average value of 5 consecutive valid readings is taken as the Shore hardness measurement value, and the average value is rounded to an integer according to GB/T8170. 8 Test report
The test report should include the following contents:www.bzxz.net
a) The number of this national standard;
b) Detailed information related to the test;
c) Test results;
d) Various details that affect the test results.
