National Standard of the People's Republic of China Weldability testing Method of cracking test for welded tee joint Weldability testing Method of cracking test for welded tee jointThis standard applies to the crack test of T-joint fillet welds of carbon steel. Preparation of test piece The shape and size of the test piece are shown in Figure 1. The welding direction of S2 is opposite to that of S,. 4.3 After the test piece cools down, use the naked eye or other appropriate methods to check whether there are cracks on the test weld S2, and measure the length of the cracks. 5 Calculation method Calculate the crack rate according to the following formula: Where: C—crack rate, %, 6 Record The sum of the crack lengths, mm. 6.1 Test date, time, ambient temperature and humidity. ML × 100% 6.2 Specimen steel grade and chemical composition, specimen state, and rolling direction. 6.3 Specimen temperature before welding, welding power type, welding polarity, electrode brand, electrode drying temperature and time, welding current, welding voltage and welding speed. 6.4 Specimen start detection time and method. 6.5 Test results: crack length and crack rate. 94 A.1 Scope of application GB4675884 Appendix A Explanation of "T-joint welding crack test method" (supplement) This standard, like other crack test methods, takes the crack test of low-carbon steel electrodes as the object. Furthermore, in the West German national standard DIN, the method that is exactly the same as the T-type test method is also applicable to alloy steel electrodes. In the West German national standard, this standard uses T-type specimens of different materials and different sizes to formulate a high-temperature crack test method for austenitic electrodes. A.2 Preparation of test pieces In order to make the bottom plate and the vertical plate close together, when using gas-cut vertical plates, the side connected to the bottom plate is required to be machined. A.3 Test steps After the test weld cools down, in addition to checking for cracks with the naked eye, it can also be observed with a magnifying glass (about 6 times magnification), and magnetic particle inspection or penetrant inspection can also be used to check for cracks. GB 4675.8—84 Test conditions (reference) B.1 The welding current should be appropriate. The average calculated thickness of the test weld S, is about 20% less than that of the first restrained weld S,. B.2 The welding interval between weld S, and weld S, should be less than 20s. Note: This appendix refers to the West German national standard DIN50129. Additional notes: This standard is equivalent to the 1981 edition of the Japanese standard JISZ3153-1971 "T-joint welding crack test method". This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Machinery Industry of the People's Republic of China. This standard was drafted by Harbin Welding Research Institute. The main drafters of this standard are Yu Jilun, Guo Shoufen and Cui Fengchi. 96 Tip: This standard content only shows part of the intercepted content of the complete standard.
