National Standard of the People's Republic of China Terms for motorcycles and mopeds Mass of two-wheeled vehicles Term for motorcycles and mopeds-Mass of vehicle with two wheelsThis standard adopts ISO6726-88 "Mass of two-wheeled mopeds and motorcycles1 Subject content and scope of application This standard specifies the terms related to the mass of two-wheeled motorcycles and two-wheeled mopeds. GB/T5359.5-1996 Vocabulary". This standard applies to two-wheeled motorcycles and two-wheeled mopeds as specified in GB/T5359.1 "Terms of vehicle types for motorcycles and mopeds". 2 Referenced standards GB/T5359.1 Terms of vehicle types for motorcycles and mopeds3 General provisions Unless otherwise specified, the following provisions shall be met: a. Mass refers to the basic quantity of gravity or inertia generated by the vehicle, that is, the quantity of the ability to resist acceleration; b. Load refers to the force transmitted to the horizontal plane by the vehicle when it is stationary; c. The supporting surface of the vehicle and the measuring device table are horizontal and in the same plane; d. The vehicle is stationary, the engine is not running, and the wheels are in a straight-line driving position; e. The vehicle is a new vehicle equipped according to the manufacturer's standards. 4 Terms 4.1 Quality terms 4.1.1 Complete vehicle dry mass The mass of a vehicle prepared for normal operation and equipped with the following equipment: a. Accessories necessary for normal operation, b. All electrical equipment (including lighting and signal devices supplied by the manufacturer), c. All instruments and connectors equipped in accordance with relevant regulations; d. Various liquids to ensure the normal operation of the vehicle. Note: Fuel and fuel/lubricant are not included, but battery electrolyte, hydraulic oil, coolant and engine lubricant are included. 4.1.2 Complete vehicle kerb mass The mass of the whole vehicle plus the mass of the following parts: a. Fuel or fuel/lubricant mixture, the amount of oil in the tank is not less than 90% of the specified capacity; Note: 1) This standard replaces the "weight" part in GB4731-84, approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on July 23, 1996, implemented on March 1, 1997. b. Accessories supplied by the manufacturer (on-board tools, cargo racks, protective equipment, etc.). 4.1.3 Complete vehicle mass fully equipped The mass of the whole vehicle plus the mass of spare parts supplied by the manufacturer for the vehicle. 4.1.4 Manufacturer's maximum total mass The mass calculated by the manufacturer taking into account factors such as specific operating conditions, material strength, tire load capacity, etc. 4.1.5 Maximum authorized total mass Maximum total mass determined under specified operating conditions. 4.2 Load terms 4.2.1 Manufacturer's maximum payload The value obtained by subtracting the vehicle's kerb mass from the manufacturer's maximum total mass and multiplying it by the standard acceleration of gravity. 4.2.2 Maximum authorized payload The value obtained by subtracting the vehicle's kerb mass from the maximum authorized total mass and multiplying it by the standard acceleration of gravity. 4.2.3 Manufacturer's maximum axleload The load that the manufacturer approves for each axle, taking into account specific operating conditions, material strength, tire load capacity and other factors. 4.2.4 Distributed load The load that each wheel bears as specified by the manufacturer. Note: The distributed load can be measured separately under the conditions described in Article 4.1. 4.2.5 Load ratio The ratio of the distributed load on each axle to the value obtained by multiplying the vehicle's mass by the standard acceleration of gravity. Note: Under the conditions stated in 4.1, the load ratio can be measured separately. 71 manufacturer's maximum total mass manufacturer's maximum payload manufacturer's maximum axle load distributed load maximum authorized total mass complete vehicle dry mass -.complete vehicle kerb mass complete vehicle mass fully equippeddistributed load load ratio manufacturer's maximum total massmanufacturer's maximum payloadmanufacturer's maximum axle loadmaximum authorized total mass maximum authorized payload GB/T 5359.5—1996 Appendix A Chinese index (reference) Maximum allowable payload Dry vehicle mass Curb mass Full vehicle mass Load ratio Appendix B English index (reference) Additional notes:bzxz.net GB/T5359.5—1996 This standard was proposed by China National Automotive Industry Corporation.
