This standard specifies the plane dimensions and tolerances, other main dimensions and tolerances of intermodal general-purpose flat pallets. This standard applies to intermodal general-purpose flat pallets for road, rail and water transport.
This standard adopts ISO6780:2003 "Main dimensions and tolerances of international material handling flat pallets" (English version), and is revised from GB/T2934-1996 "Main dimensions and tolerances of intermodal general-purpose flat pallets" in combination with the current status of flat pallet production and use in China.
Compared with GB/T2934-1996, the main changes of this standard are: the plane dimensions of the pallet are determined as two types. The two pallet plane dimensions are selected from the six pallet plane dimensions of ISO6780:2003, and one of the four pallet plane dimensions of GB/T2934-1996 is retained.
This standard replaces GB/T2934-1996.
This standard is proposed and managed by the National Technical Committee for Logistics Standardization.
