National Standard of the People's Republic of China Ferrochromium This standard applies to ferrochromium used as an alloying agent in steelmaking. Technical requirements 1.1 Grades and chemical composition UDC 669.15'.26 GB5683-87 Replaces G3568385 Ferrochromium is divided into 22 grades according to its carbon content. Its chemical composition shall comply with the provisions of the following table: Chemical FeCr69C0.03 FeCr55C3 FeCr69C0.06wwW.bzxz.Net FeCr55C6 FeCr69C0 .10 FeCr55C10 FeCr69C0.15 FeCr55C15 FeCr69Co.25 FeCr55 C25 FeCr69C0.50 FeCr55C50 FeCr69C1.0 FeCr55C100 FeCr69 C2.0 FeCr55C200 FeCr69C4.0 FeCr55C400 FeCr67C6.0 FeCr55C600 FeCr67C9.5 FeCr55C1000 63.0~75.0 not less than 63.0~75.0|| tt||63.0~75.0 63.0~75.0 63.0~75.0 63.0~75.0 63.0~75.0 63.0~75.0 63.0~75.0 62.0~72.0 62.0~72.0 Note: D) The supplier shall analyze the manganese content of each batch of high carbon ferrochrome. 60.0 Composition, % 60.0152.0 Not more than ② Ferrochrome takes 50% chromium content as the benchmark unit, () Each batch of ferrochrome must determine the chromium, silicon, carbon and phosphorus contents. If the supplier can ensure compliance with the provisions of this standard, other elements may not be determined (but oxygen-blowing converter: sulfur content should be analyzed in production of low-carbon ferrochrome). If the buyer has special requirements for chemical composition, the supplier and buyer shall negotiate separately. 1.1.2 Approved by the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry of the People's Republic of China on July 23, 1987, implemented on July 1, 1988 1.2 Physical state GB5683-87 1.2.1 Ferrochrome should be in block form, and the weight of each block shall not exceed 15kg. The weight of ferrochrome blocks with a size of less than 20×20mm shall not exceed 5% of the total weight of ferrochrome. 1.2.2 If the buyer has special requirements for particle size, the supplier and buyer shall negotiate separately. 1.2.3 There shall be no non-metallic impurities visible to the naked eye inside and on the surface of the ferrochrome, but a small amount of impurities is allowed when the coating on the surface of the ingot is not clean. 2 Test methods 2.1 Sampling The sampling of samples for chemical analysis shall be carried out in accordance with GB4010--83 "Method for sampling samples for chemical analysis of ferroalloys". 2.2 Sample preparation The preparation of samples for chemical analysis shall be carried out in accordance with GB4332--84 "Method for preparing samples for chemical analysis of ferroalloys". 2.3 Chemical analysis The chemical analysis method of ferrochrome shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of GB5687.1~5687.4-85 "Method for chemical analysis of ferrochrome". 3 Inspection rules 3.1 Quality inspection and acceptance The quality inspection and acceptance of products shall comply with the requirements of GB3650-83 "General requirements for acceptance, packaging, storage, transportation, marking and quality certificates of ferroalloys". 3.2 Batch Ferrochrome alloys of the same brand and group level are delivered in one batch, and the fluctuation range of chromium content in each batch shall not exceed 5%. 4 Packaging, storage, transportation, marking and quality certificate The packaging, storage, transportation, marking and quality certificate of the product shall comply with the requirements of GB3650~-83. Additional remarks: This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry of the People's Republic of China. This standard was drafted by Jilin Ferroalloy Factory.
