1·Subject Content and Scope of Application
This standard specifies the series and basic parameters of wire and cable extrusion equipment. JB/T5814.5-91
Replaces JB2929-81
This standard applies to extrusion equipment for extruding thermoplastics and thermosetting cross-linked polyethylene insulation and sheathing of wires and cables. The extrusion equipment specified in this standard can also be used for other extruded products with extrusion processes similar to those of cable insulation or sheathing. 2 Models
The series models of extrusion equipment are shown in Table 1.
The product marking of extrusion equipment should be specified in its type and size standards. 2.2
