3.1 Calibration (JF1001-1908) A set of operations to determine the relationship between the quantity indicated by a measuring instrument or measuring system, the value represented by a physical measuring tool or a test material, and the corresponding value represented by a standard under specified conditions: Note: 1 Calibration can not only determine the position of the end quantity, but also determine the negative value of the indication: 2 Calibration can also determine other measurement properties, such as the measurement of physical quantities. 3 The calibration results can be recorded in the calibration certificate or calibration report. 3.2 (Measurement) Standard (JJF1001-1998) A physical measuring tool, measuring instrument, test material or measuring system used as a reference in order to define, realize, save or reproduce a unit or a number of values. Through: 1 A group of similar physical quantities that are measured only, through their combination, the same standard is formed as a set of standards. 2 A group of standard values selected by the laboratory, which can be used individually or in combination to provide a series of values of a certain quantity, is called a standard set.
3.3 Laboratory measurement capability Laboratory measurement capability The minimum measurement uncertainty obtained by calibrating the object to be calibrated under the most accurate test conditions that the laboratory can achieve is expressed as the expanded uncertainty with a 95% probability of error. 4 General provisions
4.1 General principles of specification expansion
National calibration specifications are technical documents formulated and approved by the administrative department of statistics under the State Council, implemented nationwide, and used as the basis for calibration. The calibration specifications formulated according to the characteristics, uses and calibration purposes of the object to be calibrated should be:
