Build a spawning room on the sunny side of the turtle pond. The size of the spawning room should be determined according to the total number of female turtles. For every 100 to 120 female turtles, build a spawning room of 1m×1m, 2m high, 30cm of fine sand in the room, and the sand surface is level with the ground. 3.8 Sun terrace
Common sun terraces include the following types
a) Use the pool slope to make a long strip slope with the same length as the pool edge and 1m wide at the sunny side of the pool with bricks or cement boards connected to the water surface. b) Use bamboo boards or polyethylene boards with a length of 2m to 3m and a width of 1m to 2m and place them obliquely on the water surface of the pool edge. c) Use natural materials or bamboo materials to make a shed-style arched sun terrace and fix it on the water surface. d) Use a net to fix it on the water surface, with one side of the net extending into the water. 4 Parent-child cultivation
4.1 Pond cleaning before stocking
The following two methods are commonly used:
a) Pond cleaning: drain the pool water, remove the silt, sunbathe for 3d to 5d, dig a pit at the corner of the pool, use 100g/m3 of quicklime, mix it with a small amount of water to make a slurry and sprinkle it all over the pool, then use an iron raking brush to rake it all over. Fill the pond with water to 2m~2.5m every other day, and release the turtles after 5 days. b) Pond cleaning with water:
1) Quicklime pond cleaning: When the water depth is 1m, use 200g/m2 of quicklime, dissolve it into lime slurry at the edge of the pond, and sprinkle it evenly. Release the turtles after 5 days;
2) Bleaching powder pond cleaning: When the water depth is 1m, use 10g/m2 of bleaching powder containing 30% effective chlorine, add water and dissolve it, and immediately sprinkle it all over the pond. Release all the turtles after 5 days.
4.2 Parent police
4.2.1 Source
Wild or artificially selected sexually mature police bred by non-inbreeding. 4.2.2 Selection
Parent turtles should conform to the classification characteristics of Chinese police, with complete appearance, no disability, no deformation, normal body color, bright skin, thick and elastic skirt, weight 1kg~3kg, no disease, and strong physique. The female turtle has a short tail that cannot naturally extend out of the skirt; the body is thick, and the distance between the hind legs is wide. The male turtle has a long and strong tail that can naturally extend out of the skirt; the body is thin, and the distance between the hind legs is narrow. 4.3 Stocking

Stocking parent turtles in the morning on sunny days.
4.3.4 Disinfection
Common disinfectants for police bodies include:
-potassium permanganate: concentration (15~20) mg/l, soaking for 15min20min; salt: concentration 3%, soaking for 10min;
-povidone iodine (containing 1% effective iodine): concentration 30mg/L, soaking for 15min. You can choose any one of the three.
4.3.5 Stocking method
When stocking, gently put the box or basket containing the disinfectant into the water and let the turtle crawl out and swim into the water. 4.4 Feeding and Management

Feeding should be strictly in accordance with the "four fixed" principles of fixed quality, fixed quantity, fixed time and fixed location: a) Fixed quality: the quality of compound feed should comply with the provisions of NY5072 and SC/T1047; animal feed and plant feed should be fresh, free of pollution and corruption;
b) Fixed quantity: the daily feeding amount of compound feed (dry weight) is 1% to 2% of the body weight; the daily feeding amount of fresh feed is 5% to 10% of the body weight. The amount of feeding should be adjusted according to the climatic conditions and the feeding intensity of the animal, and the amount fed should be controlled to be eaten within 2 hours;
) Timing: when the water temperature is 18°C-20°C, twice a day; when the water temperature is 20°C-25°C, once a day; when the water temperature is above 25°C, twice a day, before 9 am and after 4 pm respectively; d) Fixed location: feed is fed on the feed platform that is not submerged in water. 4.4.2 Daily Management
