National Chemical Engineering Construction Standard Editing Center (formerly Engineering Construction Standard Editing Center of Ministry of Chemical Industry) Beijing
According to the arrangement of the Equipment Design Technology Center of Ministry of Chemical Industry, Second Design Institute of Chemical Industry (formerly Second Design Institute of Ministry of Chemical Industry) revised the original "Technical Specifications on Design of Steel Shell with Liner" (HGJ33-91).
This revision is based on the original "Technical Specifications on Design of Steel Shell with Liner" (HGJ33-91) and is supplemented and revised based on many years of implementation experience. The main purpose of this revision is to supplement the original regulations for the lack of provisions on the design of the pressure-lined steel shell and the shortcomings in the structural design, and to delete some unnecessary parts. This makes this regulation more complete and more practical than the original.
The main drafter of this revision is Yuan Bin from the Equipment Department of the Second Design Institute of Chemical Industry (formerly the Second Design Institute of the Ministry of Chemical Industry). Chen Youzi, Lu Hongwei, and Gong Wanchun participated in the work. The Second Design Institute of Chemical Industry

1 General
1.1 Scope of application
1.1.1 This regulation applies to the design of steel shell of equipment with anti-corrosion lining (or coating) made of carbon steel welded with a design pressure greater than -0.02MPa and less than or equal to 0.6MPa and a design temperature greater than -20℃ and less than or equal to 200℃.
1.1.2 Lining materials include anti-corrosion coatings, acid-resistant porcelain (ceramic) plates and tiles, cast stone plates, carbon bricks, impermeable graphite plates, soft polyvinyl chloride plates, fiberglass, rubber plates and lead. 1. 1.3
These regulations do not apply to the following lining equipment: lining equipment directly heated by flame;
lining equipment that is frequently moved, rotated or vibrated; lining equipment affected by auxiliary radiation;
glass equipment;
metal lining equipment other than village (pond) lead and shrink-fit lining equipment. 1.2 Reference standards
In addition to implementing the requirements of this regulation, the design and manufacture of lined steel shells shall also comply with the requirements of the following standards, specifications and regulations (latest edition): State Administration of Quality and Technical Supervision

Design of Lined Steel Shell
Determination of Lined Steel Shell Wall Thickness
The minimum wall thickness of the lined steel shell shall not be less than 5mm (Di≤4000mm). From the perspective of rigidity, the minimum wall thickness of the lining steel shell is: 2D;
wherein ~
-minimum wall thickness of the lining steel shell, mm;
D: inner diameter of the lining steel shell, mm;
C wall thickness addition, mm; This regulation takes into account the negative deviation of steel plate thickness, the wall thickness reduction caused by surface rust removal, and the corrosion of the steel shell by the imperfection of some lining (coating) layers or their own acidity except for lead lining, rubber lining, plastic lining, etc., and takes C=2mm;
-rigidity addition, mm, see Table 2.1.2
