National Standard of the People's Republic of China Rubber hose for welding and cutting Acetylene rubber hose Specification for hose for equipment for gaswelding ,cutting and related processes-Acetylene rubber hose GB 2551-92 Replaces GB2551-81 This standard refers to and adopts the national standard ISO3821-1977 "Flexible hose for welding-like gas welding operations". 1. Subject content and scope of application This standard specifies the technical requirements and test methods for acetylene rubber hoses. This standard applies to rubber hoses for welding and cutting and transporting acetylene in an environment of 20 to 45°C (hereinafter referred to as hoses). 2 Reference standards GB528 Determination of tensile properties of vulcanized rubber GB1189 Appearance quality of rubber hoses GB3512 Rubber hot air aging test method GB5563 Rubber hose hydraulic test method Guide to the selection, storage, use and maintenance of rubber, plastic hoses and hose assembliesGR 9576 GB9577 Rules for marking, packaging and transportation of rubber, plastic hoses and hose assemblies 3 Product structure and dimensions 3.1 Structure The hose shall consist of an inner rubber layer, a reinforcement layer and an outer rubber layer. 3.2 Specifications and dimensions The specifications and dimensions and tolerances of the hose shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. Table 1bZxz.net Nominal dimensions and tolerances Nominal inner diameter Inner diameter tolerance Note: The length of the hose The supplier and the buyer shall negotiate and resolve the issue. 3.3 Product marking Marking content: product name, specification, standard code. Marking example: Approved by the State Bureau of Technical Supervision on June 9, 1992 Length tolerance 1% of the total length of the hose The thickness of the rubber layer shall not be less than Inner rubber layer Outer rubber layer Implemented on June 1, 1993 4 Technical requirements Acetylene rubber hose GB 2551—92 GB2551 4.1 The physical and mechanical properties of the rubber compound used to manufacture the hose shall comply with the provisions of Table 2. Table 2 Performance Item Tensile Strength, MPa Elongation at Break, % Hot Air Aging Change in Tensile Strength, % Change in Elongation at Break, % 4.2 The pressure resistance requirements of the hose shall comply with the provisions of Table 3. Table 3 Working Pressure Test Pressure Standard Code Product Name Inner Rubber Layer 4.3 The hose shall not leak under the specified test pressure, and shall not have local bulges or other abnormal phenomena. 4.4 The appearance quality of the hose shall comply with the requirements of GB1189. 5 Test methods 5. 1 The tensile strength and tear elongation of hose rubber shall be determined in accordance with GB 528. 5.2 The hot air aging test of hose rubber shall be carried out in accordance with GB3512. 5.3 The hydraulic test of hose shall be carried out in accordance with GB5563. 6 Inspection rules 25~+25 —30~+10 Outer rubber layer Minimum dry burst pressure 6.1 The hose shall be inspected in batches by the inspection department of the manufacturer, and each batch of products must be accompanied by a quality certificate before leaving the factory. 6.2 The appearance and size of the hose shall be checked one by one. 6.3 The physical properties of the hose rubber and the pressure resistance of the hose are random inspection items. Each inspection batch is stipulated to be 5,000 pieces (calculated as 30m per piece). If the monthly output of the enterprise is less than 5,000 pieces, the monthly inspection shall not be less than times. 6.3.1 The physical properties of the rubber material shall meet the requirements in Table 2. If any item does not meet the requirements, double samples shall be taken from the same batch of rubber materials, and the unqualified items shall be retested. If one of the samples still fails to meet the requirements after the retest, the batch of rubber materials cannot be used for dust production. 6.4 For each batch of hoses, one specification shall be selected as a representative, and one shall be selected for hydraulic and blasting tests. If the test fails, double samples shall be taken from the product for retest. If one of the samples fails to meet the requirements after the retest, the batch of products shall be unqualified. 7 Marking, packaging, storage and use 7.1 The outer rubber layer of the rubber hose for transporting acetylene shall be red. 7.2 The hose shall have the following marks that are not easy to fall off: a. Standard number; b. Manufacturer's name or trademark; c. Product specifications. GB2551-92 7.3 The distance X between each two adjacent complete marks shall not exceed 3m. 7.4 The packaging and transportation of hoses shall comply with the provisions of GB9577. 7.5 The selection, storage, use and maintenance of hoses shall comply with the provisions of GB9576.
