3 Painting requirements
3.1 Requirements for metal decay surface before painting
3.1.1: Before painting, castings should generally be treated to remove rust, scale, molding sand and dirt on the surface, and the surface must be metallic in color. The surface of the casting should be smooth as far as possible, and flash and burrs are not allowed. Defects such as risers, depressions, and scars should be repaired. 3.1.2 Before painting, steel, plates, and riveted parts should be treated on the surface to remove flash, burrs, welding slag, surface oxide scale, and rust, so that the surface is the original color of the metal.
3.1.3 Before painting, non-ferrous metal parts should be cleaned or treated on the surface, and flash, burrs, etc. should be removed. 3.2 Painting process requirements
3.2.1 After the surface treatment inspection of castings, steel, plates, and riveted parts is qualified, primer should be applied in time. The primer should be applied evenly without missing any paint. After the primer is dry, transfer to the next process. 3.2.2 After the surface of non-ferrous metal parts is cleaned, phosphating primer must be applied, and then the matching zinc yellow primer should be applied after drying. 3.2.3 If the primer is found to be peeling or rusting on the parts and components that have been stored for a long time, the surface should be re-treated and the primer should be re-applied. Approved by the Ministry of Machinery and Electronics Industry on June 22, 1991 and implemented on January 1, 1992
JB/T5364-91
3.2.4 The painted surface of the castings of sand treatment and quantitative transportation equipment should be leveled with a well-matched room temperature chemical curing putty. The painted surface of the castings of sand removal and cleaning equipment is generally not puttyed. If there are defects, they can be repaired with putty. 3.2.5 The painted surface of the plates, profiles, pipe parts and welded parts is generally not puttyed. If there are defects that affect the appearance quality (including welds with poor appearance, etc.), putty can be used to properly repair them. 3.2.6 Putty should be applied in several times, and the leveling shall prevail. Each scraping must be done after the upper layer of putty is dry. 3.2.7 The thickness of putty layer: cast iron parts should generally not exceed 1.5mm, and local thickening should not exceed 3mm; cast steel parts should generally not exceed 2mm, and local thickening should not exceed 5mm.
3.2.8 Other fillers that reduce the quality shall not be added to the putty. 3.2.9 The appearance painting of the equipment is generally carried out after the final assembly and trial operation are qualified. When spraying the topcoat, if the relative humidity is greater than 70%, moisture-proof agent should be added or other measures should be taken to prevent the paint film from turning white. 3.2.10 Plastic parts, rubber parts, glass parts, instruments and meters, machine nameplates, signs and parts that require bluing (including bluing fasteners in the disassembly and adjustment parts), galvanizing, and chrome plating shall not be painted. All bluing fasteners that only serve as connection and fastening are allowed to be painted. 3.2.11. For components such as the cleaning chamber of the cleaning equipment that need to be welded and assembled at the user unit, the welding parts can only be painted with primer without topcoat. The topcoat of the welding parts shall be painted after the whole machine is installed and debugged; the turntable, trolley, floor and ceiling in the cleaning room shall only be painted with primer, not topcoat.
3.2.12 During the surface treatment and painting process of painted parts (components), each process must be inspected after completion, and the next process can be carried out only after passing the inspection.
3.3 Paint color requirements
3.3.1 The color of the paint on the appearance of the equipment should be beautiful, generous and harmonious in tone. The whole machine can be single or multi-color. Apple green, sky blue, cream yellow, green gray, bean green and other colors are recommended. Silver powder can be applied to the heated parts. It can also be determined by negotiation according to the order contract of the user unit. 3.3.2·The surface of the inner cavity of the equipment should be painted with light-colored paint. The parts in contact with the engine oil should be painted with engine oil-resistant paint. The inner wall of the electrical part shall meet the requirements of GB5226:

No. 01923. The number of test pieces is 4 for each item, of which 3 are tested in parallel and 1 is a standard test piece for comparison. 4.1.4. The surface treatment and painting process before painting are the same as the actual painting process of the machine. 4.1.5. After the test piece is prepared, it must be placed indoors for 5 to 7 days before the test can be carried out. 4.2. Heat and humidity resistance test
4.2.1. Equipment and materials
The equipment is a temperature and humidity control box. 3 test pieces. 4.2.2. Method and cycle
Hang the test pieces in the box and keep a proper distance from each other. The temperature in the box is controlled at 47±2℃ and the relative humidity is above 95%. After the continuous test for 8 hours, open the door of the box and naturally drop to room temperature. The cycle (d) is 24 hours. During the test, check once every 3 days. The test is evaluated after 21 days of continuous testing.
4.2.3 Evaluation Standards
After the test pieces have been subjected to the damp heat test, they shall be evaluated according to the following table. For three parallel test pieces, the two with the closest results shall prevail. 3
Unqualified
JB/T5364-91
1. Slight loss of gloss (5%~20%)
2. Slight discoloration
3. The paint film is in good condition, no blistering, cracking, or falling off is allowed; the test piece is not allowed to rust1. More obvious loss of gloss (21%~50%)
2. More obvious discoloration
3. There are slight or individual micro-bubbles on the surface of the paint film (accounting for less than 10% of the total area), and medium and large bubbles are not allowed1. Severe loss of gloss (more than 50%)
2. Severe discoloration (hue change)
3. Obvious patches of micro-bubbles (accounting for more than 10% of the total area), or medium and large bubbles4. The test piece is rusted; the paint film is severely damaged such as cracking and falling off Note: The damage within 5mm of the test piece and caused by external factors are not counted. ② The degree of blistering is measured by the diameter of the bubble: the diameter of the micro bubble is less than 1mm, the diameter of the medium bubble is 1~5mm; the diameter of the large bubble is greater than .5mm. 4.3 Engine oil resistance test
4.3.1 Equipment and materials
The equipment is an oil container and 3 test specimens. 4.3.2. Method and cycle
Immerse half of the test specimen in a container containing 20% machine oil, keep a proper distance between the test specimens, and release the test specimens at room temperature. During the test, check once every 7 days, and evaluate after the test is carried out for 21 consecutive days. 4.3.3 Evaluation standard
Take out the test specimen, remove the machine oil with clean cotton yarn, and then observe whether there is blistering, shedding, cracking, wrinkles and other damage on the surface of the paint layer. If any of these phenomena occurs, it is unqualified. Among the 3 parallel test specimens, the two with the closest conditions shall prevail. 4.4 The color of the paint film shall be determined in accordance with GB1729.
4.5 The gloss of the paint film shall be measured in accordance with GB1743.
4.6 The adhesion of the paint film shall be measured in accordance with GB1720. 4.7 The drying time shall be measured in accordance with GB1728.
