Mass flowmeter verification procedure
This procedure is applicable to the verification of new, used and repaired mass flowmeters. Overview
Mass flowmeter (hereinafter referred to as this meter) is a flowmeter used to measure the quality, flow rate or total amount of fluid flowing through a certain cross-section.
2 Original
2.1 Coriolis or mass flow meter (CF) 1) Its principle is to use the Coriolis force generated when the fluid flows in the flow tube to measure the mass flow of the fluid directly or indirectly. The flow meter is composed of a flow sensor (hereinafter referred to as a sensor) and a transmitter: it can directly measure the mass and total mass of the fluid, and some can also measure the density of the fluid. 2.2 Thermal flow meter (hereinafter referred to as flow meter 2) Its original principle is to set a heat source outside the wall, use the dependence of heat and mass transfer of flowing gas, and produce temperature changes in the upstream and downstream to obtain the mass flow and total mass of the gas. The flow meter is generally composed of a sensor and a transmitter. 3.3 Impulse flow meter (hereinafter referred to as flow meter 3) is a kind of meter for measuring bulk or granular fluids. The main purpose is to obtain the total flow rate by measuring the force caused by the impact of the material flowing freely at a high altitude and the force generated by the material when it moves under the detection technology. The flow meter is generally composed of an impact type flow transmitter and an impact type flow meter. 3: Appearance and random delivery requirements
3.1 Appearance requirements
3.1.1 The flow meter should have a nameplate, which should indicate the manufacturer, factory mark, trademark, flow meter name and number, manufacturing year and month, industry number, nominal value, flow specification, accuracy grade, and meter type manufacturing certification mark. If it is an explosion-proof instrument, it should have an explosion-proof mark. 3.1.2 The sensor should have a flow direction mark on the measuring part of the shell: 3.1.3 The appearance of the flow meter is neat and tidy, the mark is correct, the surface coating layer is evenly colored, and there should be no peeling, flaking, rust, etc.
3.1.4 The font symbols on the panels of the transmitter and flow meter should be clear and beautiful, and the display port should not have scratches, scratches and other defects that affect the reading. The glass of the reading device should have good transparency. 1

10.1 Appearance inspection
Use the test method to inspect the appearance of the flow meter, and the results should meet the requirements of Section 3.1. 10.2 Random document inspection

11 Newly manufactured sensors shall be subjected to pressure resistance test: all replaced main pipes and other parts of the body shall be subjected to pressure resistance test.
11.2 Install the sensor on the pressure test bench and pass 1.5 times the nominal pressure for 5 minutes. The result shall meet the requirements of Article 4.
12.1 Selection of verification equipment
