1 Subject Content and Scope of Application

This standard specifies the basic content and writing methods for the preparation of product instructions (hereinafter referred to as instructions for use) by chemical enterprises. This standard does not apply to chemical products for military use, chemical machinery and equipment. 2 Reference standards

3.1 The basic requirements and general provisions of the instructions for use shall comply with the provisions of GB9969.1 General rules for instructions for use of industrial products. 3.2 The instructions for use are technical information and relevant provisions provided to users with the product, consisting of text, diagrams and tables. 3.3 The contents of the instructions for use mainly include the specifications, uses, correct methods of use, conditions of use and scope of use of the product, and introduce the physical and chemical properties, technical parameters, storage and packaging of the product according to the characteristics of the product. 3.4 The instructions for use shall clearly stipulate the safety precautions, storage conditions, disposal methods after product scrapping and accident handling methods for hazardous chemicals.
