GB/T 2893.1-2013 Graphical symbols Safety colors and safety signs Part 1: Design principles for safety signs and safety markings GB/T2893.1-2013 |tt||Standard compression package decompression password: www.bzxz.net
This part of GB/T2893 specifies the safety colors and design principles for different types of safety signs and safety markings, which are mainly used in work areas and public places to prevent accidents, prevent fires, convey information about dangerous situations and emergency evacuation. This part also specifies the basic principles to be applied when formulating standards containing safety signs. This part is applicable to all places where personal safety issues need to be paid attention to. This part does not apply to signals for guiding railway, highway, inland waterway, maritime and air traffic. In short, it does not apply to areas where there are other provisions in laws and regulations.
GB/T2893 "Graphic Symbols Safety Colors and Safety Signs" is divided into four parts:
———Part 1: Design principles for safety signs and safety markings;
———Part 2: Design principles for product safety labels;
———Part 3: Design principles for graphic symbols for safety signs;
———Part 4: Chromaticity and photometric properties of safety sign materials. This part
is Part 1 of GB/T2893.
This part was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T1.1-2009 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Preparation of Standards".
This Part replaces GB/T 2893.1-2004 "Graphical symbols, safety colours and safety signs - Part 1: Design principles for safety signs in workplaces and public areas". Compared with GB/T 2893.1-2004, the main technical changes are as follows:
- Delete the standardization process of safety signs (Chapter 6 of GB/T 2893.1-2004);
- Delete the provisions on lining in the design of safety signs (7.1 of GB/T 2893.1-2004);
- Delete the design requirements for the combination of emergency exit signs and directional auxiliary signs (8.6 of GB/T 2893.1-2004);
- Put the relationship between the size of safety signs and the viewing distance into the informative appendix (Chapter 10 of GB/T 2893.1-2004);
———The provisions on the chromaticity and photometric properties of safety colors and contrast colors (Chapter 11 of GB/T 2893.1-2004) are deleted.
This part adopts ISO3864-1:2011 "Graphical symbols - Safety colors and safety signs - Part 1: Design principles for safety signs and safety markings" by redrafting.
Compared with ISO3864-1:2011, this part has the following technical differences:
———GB/T 2893.3, which is a modified international standard, is used to replace the referenced document ISO3864-3 in the original international standard;
———GB/T 2893.4, which is a modified international standard, is used to replace the referenced document ISO3864-4 in the original international standard;
———GB/T 15566, which has no corresponding relationship with the international standard, is used to replace the referenced document ISO17724 in the original international standard.
This part has been edited as follows:

GB/T2893.1—2013
With the continued growth of trade, tourism and the movement of people, it is necessary to standardize the system of signs that convey safety information in the country so that the system can be quickly understood with as little reliance on text as possible, so that people can effectively avoid various dangers that may be encountered in daily production and life and prevent accidents.
The use of standardized safety signs and safety markings cannot replace the correct working methods, instructions, and training and measures to prevent accidents. Education is an important part of any system for providing safety information. Graphic symbols Safety colors and safety signs
