GB 498 Standard for Antibiotic Glass Bottle Caps includes the following two parts: GB5198.1 Antibiotic Glass Bottle Caps Part 1: Aluminum Caps: (F13·5198.2 Antibiotic Glass Bottle Caps Part 2: Aluminum-Plastic Combination Caps: GB5198-85 is replaced by GB5198.1-1996. Bottle caps are divided into the following types:
Type ZB: composed of aluminum parts with center holes and plastic parts with flanges; Type 21): composed of aluminum parts with tear-off tabs and plastic parts with flanges; Type B: composed of aluminum parts with center holes and plastic parts without flanges; Type D: composed of aluminum parts with tear-off tabs and plastic parts without flanges. 4 Dimensions and tolerances

6 Requirements
6.1 Mechanical properties
The mechanical properties of aluminum materials shall meet the requirements specified in the three categories A, B and C in Table 2. Note 2: Appendix C lists the chemical composition of commonly used lead alloys Table 2 Mechanical properties of aluminum materials

The bottle cap should be clean. There should be no residual lubricant, burrs, damage and injection flash: the plastic part should be completely connected with the lead part. 6.3 Convex edge
The convex edge of the aluminum part of the bottle cap should not be greater than 3mm.
6.4 Opening force
6.4.1 When testing according to the method specified in the previous section A, the tearing force required to remove plastic parts and disconnect ZD or (D) type aluminum parts shall generally meet the requirements of Table 3

6.4.2 The minimum tearing force required to remove plastic parts and tear off ZD or (OD) type aluminum parts shall meet the agreed value between the supplier and the buyer. 6.5 Steam and fire resistance
The bottle cap is 7.5.After the process specified in 7.5.1 and 7.5.2, the plastic parts shall not be deformed or discolored, and the surface of the aluminum parts shall not have any obvious changes. The parts shall also be able to withstand the steam sterilization temperature of 130 for a short time (maximum 5 minutes) without deformation or discoloration. Note 3: Ordinary aluminum alloys tend to produce marks when sterilized in a steam sterilizer. 6.6 Matching
After the process specified in 7.5.1 and 7.5.2, the bottle cap shall be matched with the appropriate medium. 6.7 Strength
After the process specified in 7.5.1 and 7.5.2, the bottle cap shall not be broken or abnormally deformed. 6.8 Opening quality
When the bottle cap is subjected to the opening force test, after removing the material (opening the bottle cap), the opening of the aluminum part shall not be damaged. 6.9 Coating firmness

For aluminum parts with coating on the outer surface, there should be no signs of coating wear after the test in 7.6. 6.10 Process requirements
The assembly of aluminum parts and plastic parts should be carried out in a clean state and ensure that the assembled bottle caps are not contaminated. 7 Test methods
7.1 Mechanical properties
The mechanical properties (tensile strength and elongation) of aluminum parts should be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB228. Certificate 4: Bottle cap manufacturing! The mechanical properties test and chemical composition analysis report of the aluminum material supplier can be received. 7.2 Appearance quality
Visual inspection.
7.3 Size
Inner diameter is inspected with limit gauge. Other dimensions are checked with general measuring tools such as vernier calipers, height gauges and micrometers. 7.4 The convex edge defects of the four sides
