This standard is revised based on the original standard GB8388—1987 Knob Door Lock (this standard was issued by the State Bureau of Light Industry E1999:112 and converted to QB/T3840—1999, the content is the same as before) and adopts ANS1/RHMAA156.2—1996 for non-equivalent revision.
This standard revise the original standard as follows:
1. It is confirmed that this standard is not suitable for anti-theft safety door locks: 2. Product classification is based on the lock structure and lock body structure. 3. Products are divided into A and B categories according to their performance and safety. When selecting categories and product specifications, they should be considered based on their use value. Appearance, safety objects and final use effects: 4. Product naming is based on their performance and use occasions, and their functions and appearance characteristics are clarified: 5. The surface quality of the product has added a pencil hardness test, and different surface electrodeposition layers have been distinguished and tested and evaluated.
Appendix A of this standard is a prompt appendix.
This standard is proposed by the Industry Management Department of the State Bureau of Light Industry. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Hardware Standard Promotion Center.
