3 Design conditions and depth of content
3.1 Pipeline material design description
The pipeline material design description shall meet the standards, specifications, units, materials, markings, tests, inspections and other terms of the pipeline materials that may be involved in the entire project, and specify the dimensions and tolerances of the pipeline materials. When the process system and pipeline layout professionals change the scope of use, they should be modified and sent a new version in a timely manner. 3.2 Pipeline material grade index
The pipeline material grade index should generally include pipeline grade, fluid type, operating temperature range, flange pressure grade basic material and corrosion allowance to meet the selection of grades by the process system professionals. 3.3
Pipeline material grade table
The pipeline material grade table should specify the standards, materials, size range, pressure grade, model and temperature and pressure usage relationship of all pipeline components used in each grade. 3.4 Pipeline wall thickness table
The pipe wall thickness table is a wall thickness table for engineering use that is adjusted by the pipeline material control major according to the standard thickness of the pipe based on the pipe wall thickness calculation table provided by the pipeline machinery major. 3.5 Pipeline branch connection table
The pipe branch connection table is a regulation of the connection method and connection elements at the root of the main pipe based on the impact on the strength of the main pipe when the branch pipe is led out from the main pipe. It should include the connection methods of all grades of pipes and all size ranges in the entire project.
3.6 Pipeline and instrument demarcation regulations
3.6.1 Pipeline and instrument demarcation regulations should generally include various instruments that may be used in the project, and the design and procurement of their respective professional components such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, etc. should be divided into different tasks. 3.6.2 Pipeline and instrument demarcation regulations should generally comply with the requirements of the pipeline branch connection table for root elements. 3.6.3 Pipeline and instrument demarcation regulations should be listed in the form of charts. 3.7 Insulation design regulations
Insulation design regulations generally include: scope of application, general requirements, insulation material performance, insulation grade, meteorological data, design method and insulation thickness table, insulation structure and insulation structure diagram, etc. 3.8 Anti-corrosion and painting design regulations
Anti-corrosion and painting design regulations should generally include: painting scope, surface treatment, anti-corrosion of buried pipelines, paint grade and coating, dry film thickness, coating inspection, coloring instructions. 3.9 Common abbreviations in pipeline material control profession Common abbreviations in pipeline material control profession should generally include all abbreviations appearing in design documents and design drawings.
Pipeline material purchase documents
3.10.1 Pipeline material purchase documents are design conditions for the procurement department, which are generally not stored in the warehouse and are not issued to users and construction units.
3.10.2 Pipeline material purchase documents should include purchase orders, drawings (if any), design data sheets, engineering standards and related manufacturing, inspection and testing documents. 104
