National Standard of the People's Republic of China Flashback Arrester for Dissolved Acetylene Cylinders Arrester for Dissolved Acetylene CylindersSubject Content and Scope of Application GB 12136—89 This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for flashback arresters for dissolved acetylene cylinders (hereinafter referred to as flashback arresters). This standard applies to flashback arresters for dissolved acetylene cylinders. Reference standards GB 1220 GB3863 GB3864 GB4425 GB5232 GB 6819 Basic structure Stainless steel rod Industrial gaseous oxygen Industrial gaseous nitrogen Lead brass rod Processing brass Chemical composition and product shape Dissolved acetylene The flashback arrester is mainly composed of a one-way valve and a flame extinguisher. Its structure is shown in Figure 1. 3.11 One-way valve: A valve that only allows gas to flow in one direction. 3.2 Flame extinguisher: A device that uses micropores to dissipate heat and extinguish flames. 4 Basic parameterswww.bzxz.net The maximum working pressure of the flashback arrester is 0.15MPa. 4.1 Note: The pressures in this standard are all gauge pressures. 4.2 The working environment temperature is -20~60℃. 4.3 The threads of the air inlet and outlet of the flashback arrester are both M16×1.5 left-6g, and the effective length of the threads is 8mm. Approved by the State Bureau of Technical Supervision on December 29, 1989 570 Implementation on October 1, 1990 5 Technical requirements 5.1 Materials 5.1.1 Metal materials: GB 12136--89 1—One-way valve, 2 flame extinguisher 5.1.1.1 The copper content (by mass) of copper alloy parts must be less than 70%, and its chemical composition should comply with GB5232, and its mechanical properties should comply with GB4425. 5.1.1.2 The chemical composition and mechanical properties of stainless steel materials shall comply with GB1220. 5.1.2 Non-metallic materials: The materials used to manufacture non-metallic parts of flashback arresters must have sufficient physical and chemical stability to acetylene gas, oxygen and acetone. 5.2 Performance requirements 5.2.1 Under the provisions of Article 6.1, the flashback arrester shall be tested continuously for 5 times to ensure that the fire is stopped. The time interval between each test shall not exceed 40s, but not less than 20s. 5.2.2 The pressure loss of the flashback arrester shall meet the flow-pressure characteristic curve in Figure 2, and its outlet pressure shall not be lower than the pressure value under the corresponding flow rate of the curve shown in the figure. 5.2.3 The closing pressure pe of the flashback arrester check valve is: 6×10-4MPa Tip: This standard content only shows part of the intercepted content of the complete standard.
