1 Subject Content and Scope of Application
HG/T2045--91
This standard specifies the quality grade indicators, inspection and sampling methods for mechanical seals for kettles. This standard applies to the stirring shafts of carbon steel and stainless steel reaction skewers and similar vertical stirring shaft mechanical seals. Its working parameters are as follows: the medium pressure in the sealing chamber is 1.33×10-5 (absolute pressure) ~ 2.5MPa (gauge pressure); the medium temperature in the sealing chamber is 0 ~ 80℃; the outer diameter of the stirring shaft (or sleeve) is 30 ~ 130mm; the rotation speed is not more than 500r/min; the medium is various fluids except strong oxidizing acids and high-concentration alkalis. 2 Reference standards

3 Classification of quality characteristics by importance
Quality characteristics are divided into three categories according to the principles of Table 1: key quality characteristics (Category A), main quality characteristics (Category B), and general quality characteristics (Category C). For specific classification, see Appendix A.

4.1 Product quality grades are divided into three levels: superior product, first-class product and qualified product. 4.2 Products shall be disassembled and inspected in accordance with Appendix A. Grade indicators are determined according to the provisions of Table 2, Table 3, Table 4 (quality characteristics are all Class A), Table 5, and the product quality grade is determined by the lowest grade indicators achieved by the product. 5 Inspection method
5.1 Static pressure test and operation test are in accordance with the provisions of HG2099. 5.2 Parts inspection shall be carried out in accordance with the methods specified in relevant standards. 6 Sampling
