This standard specifies the recording format of digital mapping by photogrammetry to ensure the uniformity of mapping information storage and exchange. This standard applies to the data recording of digital mapping by photogrammetry of national series scales.

Some standard content:

GB/T17158
This standard is formulated for the first time in my country. This standard is formulated based on the topographic map data recording items required by my country's national series of scale topographic map photogrammetry and digital mapping operations and the contents specified in the classification and code standards for corresponding scale topographic map elements. From the implementation of this standard, any recording format specified in the topographic map photogrammetry digital mapping specifications that conflict with or are inconsistent with this standard shall be subject to this standard.
The appendix to this standard is a reminder appendix. This standard was proposed and managed by the National Bureau of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation. The drafting unit of this standard: Surveying and Mapping Standardization Institute of the National Bureau of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation. The main drafters of this standard: Lin Dingrong and Jiang Xiangluan. 1 Scope
National Standard of the People's Republic of China
Record format for
photogrammetric digital mappingGB/T17158--1997
This standard specifies the record format for photogrammetric digital mapping to ensure the uniformity of storage and exchange of mapping information. This standard applies to the data record of photogrammetric digital mapping of national series scales. 2 Referenced standards
The provisions contained in the following standards constitute the provisions of this standard through reference in this standard. When this standard is published, the versions shown are valid. All standards will be revised, and parties using this standard should explore the possibility of using the latest version of the following standards. GB14804--931:5001:10001:2000 Classification code of topographic map elements GB/T15660--19951:50001:100001:250001:500001:10000 Classification and code of topographic map indices

3.1 Measurement of data
This standard stipulates that the digital mapping data of photogrammetry shall be recorded in the form of long-term data with the map sheet as the basic recording unit. The Gaussian coordinates, elevation and distance of topographic map elements shall be expressed in meters, with a maximum of 3 decimal places; the angle shall be expressed in sexagesimal degrees, minutes and seconds, with a maximum of whole seconds.
The position of the topographic map annotation on the map is represented by the Gaussian coordinates of the lower left corner of the first character of the annotation, and the annotation direction is represented by the angle with the Y track. The units and decimals are the same as the topographic map elements. The height and spacing of the annotation are expressed in mm, and the decimal point is 1. In addition to the above, the measurement units of other data should be marked item by item. 3.2 Recording format of data files
Data files are recorded in standard ASCII text files. 3.3 Classification and codes of topographic map elements
The classification and codes of topographic map elements are implemented according to different topographic map scales (GB1480493 and GB/T15660--1995).
3.4 Classification and naming of data files
The classification and naming of topographic map data files are shown in Table 1. Approved by the State Bureau of Technical Supervision on December 16, 1997 330
Implementation on August 1, 1998
